The reason for selecting this college was there were only 2 colleges offering PharmD, and my sister was an alumni of Sumandeep so, my family were more interested in that college. There were no interviews or written tests. You just have to go and meet the admission counsellor and depending on the availability, they will give you admission.
Choosing this course was one of the biggest mistake. There are people who would say PharmD is a very good field but it isn't. After investing 10 lac just in fees, its hard to find a 20k per month paying job. There's no specific vacancies for PharmD and fresher's aren't selected easily. The faculties sucked at their work. They didn't bother to show up, they just gave us things to write, make presentations and didn't bother to check it too. Exams didn't have a proper schedule, they used to organize it as per their feasibility.
One can find internship on their own. The allowed period is of 3 months. I opted an internship in HCG Cancer hospital. The requirement is, it should be an NABH accredited hospital. There is no stipend. In few hospitals, you have to pay them to give you internship. The internships tasks are clinical based. Take ward round, find ADRs, pill count and documentation are the daily responsibilies in internship.
There are no placements. There is no support. All they do is share job vacancies sreenshot from linkedin. One can find jobs from the reference provided by their seniors. Otherwise one can't expect any support from college or faculties.
They offer a scholarship for Jain students by giving them 10% off. The fees for PharmD has declined now, costing 150000 per year which brings the total cost to 750000 compared to our 1000000. The sixth year i.e. Internship doesn't have any fees but it's an unpaid and compulsory to do 9 months in Sumandeep's own hospital.
There's an event called PharmaFest which happens every year in January or February. The classrooms don't have an AC. The benches aren't good. There's no specific team or people for sports quota. They have a ground, if you want to play, you go and play. No dedicated support from their side. They have a swimming pool and I have never seen a single coach around it. There are no social groups or clubs.
The food was very unhygienic and blend. There are two hostel options, normal and NRI. Normal hostel has sharing washrooms between 6 rooms and 12 people. The washrooms aren't clean at all. The NRI has individual attached washroom in room shared by 2 people. I was in NRI hostel.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.
Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.
Good placements after masters and bachelor’s the support is full from the institution and the companies come to collage and interview us and the placement are 90% and above with the good package expecting
All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
