- Simple campus, small and cosy with a lot of trees and not so friendly people.
- Campus life is absolute horror because of pressure and stress to be truthful. Mbbs I tough.
Dislikes
- Maintenance of college, compared to other private colleges it's very poor in maintanence. Faculty are cool. Campus life is irritating.
- I dislike the fact that the college infrastructure is old compared to other colleges.
Remarks :
This college is small and like a school actually with 100 people so the faculties can focus on individual student unlike other big medical institutions. It's also very friendly compared to other colleges. It's not too much or too little Just right for a quiet guy like me. No discussions, interviews or written tests for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course out of passion and the academics is very tough. It's not a simple course and much hard work and time has to be put in. The faculties are all very tested and great individuals with a lot of knowledge. They guide us in all aspects. They are friendly as long as we are within bounds. All the faculties are doctors who have completed mbbs and some pg degree. Teaching method is orthodox, powerpoints are used. Cadaveric dissection for anatomy. Clinical side teaching. Cbme curriculum is followed. It's competency based. The time line is very short, from September the Frist year exam to August of next year, it's barely 11 months for a complete year. A lot of subject to cover. It's because of COVID. Difficultly level is well near impossible. Nobody sleeps before exams for 2 months or so.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internships and I don't know anything. But after the course it's possible to go clinical or academic. It's also possible to learn further and get specialized. Going to work in private hospitals is also possible.
Placement Experience :
You will be a crri which means an intern in this college hospital where you will be paid. This is the job opportunity. Other than that, after one year, we gotta write the pg exam and get a pg seat in a government college hopefully for pursuing further. Otherwise it's very expensive. Just mbbs is not really very fruitful. You will just work here if you pass your 4th year exams and package on average is 25000. Everybody who passes will get a placement here with stiffend. Mbbs is different.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This is a government college so fews is not much. In private the fees is in crores of Indian rupees but here it's just in thousands. For the initial security deposit it's about 50000 indian rupees. Then for mess every month it's 3000 for vegetarian, and can go upto 6000 or more for non vegetarian. The only way to get the seat here is through neet exam and reservations. No other go. Without scholarship it's impossible to study here. The fees for the complete course will be about 1 to 2 lakhs and it's not gonna increase. This is just tuition fees. Mess fees and hostel fees. For stay and accomodation it's 1300 per month. You will have to buy books and stationery materials. Equipments for lab and coat which will all come at differing costs.
Campus Life :
Well we have tamil nandram which is a fest tht occurs every 2 years or so randomly and we have the culturals which occurs every September. We have pongal fest and diwali fest, books and journals are available in the library. Yes I can't describe them because, it's medicine, let's just say you will find all of them. Amenities in classroom. You can expect tables, chairs and lighting with fans. What else is there. It's a mid level college. Sports and extracurricular activites. Every evening we train, all of us. Football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, throwball. Well extracurriculars, we will have umm. Not much actually. Sports is real good. Clubs, we have academic club, sports club, culturals club, bands and more. There are no websites run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I am a hosteller, mess is good here with nutritious food both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The infrastructure is alright if you ask me. Not too shabby or too clean. It's near hygienic but not really. Maintaining personal hygiene is important. To apply for hostel rooms, you have to get admissions and come in person to the hostel and meet the manager. Nearby a bank is there of sbi where you will pay. Affordability is the best. I don't know about renting.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
