My college experience at Parul University
Likes
- I really like the food courts as they provide good food for less price. The gym has good equipment’s and the campus is very safe . The security guards are very strict so no one can misbehave and go something illegal in the campus or hostel .
- There is no ragging or senior culture meaning everyone is equal here . Making friends is easy and the faculty helps in making good network in the industry as well .
Dislikes
- I dislike the part where the guards don’t let you hangout in some parts of the campus . Out time for girls is just for 1 hr which is insufficient.
- In college the attendance criteria is 75% and they don’t give attendance to students doing extracurricular activities that easily.
Remarks :
There is no group discussion of any written test , if you want to join the design degree you have to give an exam called DAT . Parul University is very inexpensive and they conduct a lot of hackathons and other events which is free of cost . Networking is very easy in Parul as they conduct many networking events. Students can join cells to gain more knowledge and experience based on their own degree
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty in my department are very supportive and they provide personal help to each individual, our dean is a female so when it comes to safety and rights of a girl she is always supportive, most of our faculty are phd graduates. Classes are taken on time and study materials are always provided. It truly depends on the student how good he/she can cope up with the studies. You get plenty of time to build extra skills as well
Internships Opportunities :
Currently going a consultation project under Parul University fitcs development. The project is to find a client having a business and building a website for them , getting them a domain and providing maintenance to the website .
Placement Experience :
Eligibility for placement is 0 backlogs and above 6 cgpa . Company’s like Paytm , flipkart, Mahindra , hdfc bank ,L&t, Amul , John Deere visited our campus . Package offered goes from 2 lakh to 10 lakh pa . Almost 50% get placed and some goes for higher education as well . My plans after my bachelor is to get a masters degree from Parul itself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee is up to 99k after the scholarship which is given according to your 12th mark sheet it goes up to 78k for first year fee . OBC st sc kids of Gujarat can get up to 50 to 70% scholarship.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is the most beautiful part of my college life at Parul University, hostels are great , events are organised every month to keep us engaged. Infrastructure of the college is more then you can ask for. They have food courts , gym , football and basketball ground , party halls which u can book for your birthday. Overall a 10/10 experience. Bonus points for bringing really good artist for concerts like Anuv Jain and vishal and Shekhar , king and many more .
Hostel Facilities :
You can apply for hostels by visiting the campus itself or through a counsellor. I stayed in Teresa D girls hostel for 2 years . The food is decent. They serve veg food . The rooms are clean and the infrastructure is great. They have roof top cafes in case you feel like eating out but doesn’t want to go out of your hostel . They have vending machines for snacks as well .

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

Placement Experience :
No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.

Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
