- The college has a very live campus and as mentioned above it has its tagline that 'IMT never sleeps' - Something or the other always going on at campus - The infrastructure is pretty good with an aesthetically created academic block, it has quite good hostels and many blocks with proper sitting areas. - The canteen serves good food and also the library has a large section of books and novels - Faculties are mixed in-house as well as visting and have good amount fo experience as well as there are guest lecturers - Students are from diverse background and places and you'll have great networking opportunities and peer learning - It hosts the biggest sports fest Chakravyuh amonngst B-schools, a 72 hour non stop sproting event
Dislikes
- The things i dislike is too close to the city, so students easily go out - The restriction have increased a bit but are now half back again - It fills more people from DU - The batch size they increased quite much but will reduce in the subsequent years
Remarks :
IMT Ghaziabad is a college with 40+ year legacy with great reputation in the Industry and curriculum. My factors for selecting this institute are: It is known as Mecca for marketing. The campus is in the NCR corporate hub Hosts close to 180 companies for placements Great & Diverse culture Comes in the top 25 MBA institutes Currently, the college ranking has been going down a bit The director changed recently It has been experiencing some issues The average package has gone down a bit Big batch size is a negative The Process includes filling a form of the college which is 3000/- rs. It takes CAT (2400/- for form) & XAT(2000/- for form) mba entrances It consists of GD and then PI. The PI is moderate and tests your personality, confidence and basic knowledge. The CAT cut off is 92-93% and for XAT it is 90% Prepare around current affairs, recent developments, and undergrad knowledge(basic), Thoroughly for Workex if you have worked previously. Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because PDGM core is the flagship course of IMT Ghaziabad and it helps you to select electives later and change streams. Other courses are PGDM - marketing, finance, HR, Ops, BFSI and DCP There are world-class faculties, and the Teaching aspect of the institute is great. Proper learning curve. We have visiting faculties, In-house faculties as well as guest lectures from Industry and Academic leaders at regular intervals. The teaching method is classroom learning through discussions and case studies from Harvard Business School, IIM Ahmedabad etc. Live projects, practical lab experiences, and proper tech facilities along with summer internship. The classes are 1.5 hours each with 80% attendance criteria There is a trimester system. So 6 semesters. Exams are conducted thrice a year at the end of every semester(Moderate). End term is of 40 marks. other than that marks are distributed through Quizzes Class participation Presentations and Projects
Internships Opportunities :
The major recruiters in the Summer Internships are Pernord Richard, Marico, Reckitt Benckiser, Nivea, Brittania, BNY Mellon, Microsoft, ABFRL, 4700 BC, Gartner, Mccain, GSK, and Deloitte amongst others In internship majorly it is sales and marketing roles, digital marketing, financial analyst, IT sales, E-commerce etc. The average stipend of IMT is around 104000 per month with median at around 90000 per month Due to its close proximity to NCR region a lot of good companies visit the campus The SIP process during this year has been a bit slow and companies are coming a bit less but still it has decent amount of company and roles Close to 95% of the batch is placed during summers Summer Internship is of 2 months from April till May end, some might extend to June and the projects are mostly live ones and related to B2C sales, market analysis and Finance
Placement Experience :
The placements are decent here. The average package is around 17.35 LPA The median package is around 16.4 LPA To be eligible for the placements a student needs to keep a GPA at or above 5.0 The GPA till term 3 i.e. the first year is considered before the CV gets locked The marks of Xth, XIIth and UG are also considered and most of the companies have criteria of at least 60% in all The Major recruiters here for the 'Final Placements' are Microsoft, Marico, L&T, HT Media, Societe General, Infosys Consulting, Accenture, Aditya Birla Capital, ABinBev, Delloite USI, Magic Bricks, Genpact & others There are also PPO opportunities provided through summer internships (this year there are around 120 PPO offers rolled out) and case competitions Profiles like Management Trainee, Area Sales manager, Product manager, Associate are offered There is a 100% placement record but it is around 85% till second year ends
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for IMT Ghaziabad PGDM is 1960000 in total. This was when I enrolled and currently, it has increased to around 2100000. 1185000 in the first year before joining the college 450000 first instalment 400000 second instalment 250000 third installment (June) 850000 in the second year in one go. The fees for girls have a reimbursement of 25% i.e around 500000, i.e. for GIRLS the fees is 1600000/- 15000 is the caution deposit which you get at the end of the year. 3000/- for the college form The tuition fee includes Hostel,Mess,Books & study material, Exam and every other charge TFW option - where the student has to pay only 500000 for Other amenities We have scholarships like MahendraNath scholarship to top 20 percentilers in the first year for each specialisation The first 10 get 100000 each The next 10-20 get 50000 each The PGDM DCP(dual country programme) has fee amount of around 3000000 as they go to Dubai for a year

IMT G has an amazing campus life. There is a saying that 'IMT never sleeps' which is eventually true. Something or the other is going on in the college at all hours Great peer learning culture and really good hostels There are in all 22 clubs and committees at IMT that like PR,Student council,Placement, Sports, Cultural etc. hosts Numerous events throughout the year that keeps the campus alive The C&C's give holistic learning as well as practical management experience and a cult and friends for life Library has all kinds of books from academia to Novels and is wuite a serene place Classrooms are in a quater circle form with well equipped facilities. Projectors and comfortable chairs. Biggest sports event in all MBA colleges i.e Chakravyuh, a 72 hour non stop sports fest with all kinds of sponsors Annual fest Passion and events like TEDx and poker night with E-Conclave (startup fest) light up the college There is Oratory, finance, marketing, ops and other clubs

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
