- My college is located in thepakulam Madurai is a namely know as temple city as my college is located between two temples and the view from the college to thepakulam lake is the thing which I like the most
- In my college I really liked the skill development workshop which helps many to overcome the fear of communication
Dislikes
- Canteen should have to improved because it's the only canteen for the whole college but the food are affordable but they have to make it big in order for the all the students
- In my department students are not included in the extracurricular activities and other intercollegiate events because of the lack of awareness
Remarks :
No there's Is no gd or written test I applied for the course on my college admission site and I'm a self financed student for both self and aided same process we should have the cut-off for 400 which includes the main subject like maths physics chemistry and computer science I secured 323/400 and I get into this course
Course Curriculum Overview :
From the computer science background for me we had a very good syllabus which is good to learn the core language and technology and for the exams everything is depends upon how you prepare for the exam and the evaluation is very strict here and the faculties are very knowledgeable and having hand's on experience on the IT industrys
Internships Opportunities :
Currently my college offers intership with stipend monthly companies like tring apps Zoho offers training intership where the recruite the students after the intership and Deloitte offers a data analytics intership for 6 months with stipend Accenture offering summer internship for my juniors students now
Placement Experience :
Thiagarajar college is best comparing to other arts and science college in madurai which offers the placement for every department the minimum package is 3lpa and the service based companies like tcs Accenture Deloitte Wipro mindtree product companies like Zoho are hiring form out college and for the highest package it's 15lpa in my department 70% of students are getting placed others are planning for a pg or business
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first semester I padi 27000 including tutorial and other fees and for the even semester I padi only 20,400 and 3rd semester padi 21000and for 5 th semester I padi 30000 because we had a placement training and certification course provided by the college from Coursera. For the scholarship there are lots of scholarship program offered by the college namely Kalaithanthai karumuthu thiagarajar chettiar Memorial charitable trust Management Scholarship SC/ST scholarship backward classes scholarship they provide every semester for the needed students and my classmates are getting the single parent and management scholarship from the college
Campus Life :
Every year my college will conduct sangamam feast which is held on every even semester it includes 20+ events and it is a intedepartment feast Evey department has a club and the club events conducted by the club representative which is helpful for the communication between the students my department have a club named Tic club which is for the department IT library Evey students can access both e library and college library
Hostel Facilities :
I'm currently staying in pg which is near to the college. College is located in thepakulam and my pg is in annanagar which is 1km away from the college if you don't get college hostel you can stay on pg there are lots of pg available near the college from the walkable distance

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
