The written test is now been taken by the management since 2023. Earlier there was admission based on 12th marks I. Do E main 5 subjects at least have 60? marks. Infrastructure is a plus point for the college. It is a lush green campus with a proper area for everything. Small Nescafe cafes are all around the campus. Food outlets are there in the college at several places. The teacher-to-faculty ratio is also good. Two big outdoor grounds. And 1 indoor ground having TABLE TENNIS, SQUASH, and Badminton courts (all with national standards). Noted-Indoor ground is only open between(4 pm to 8 pm). There are two engineering blocks. Two pharmacy blocks. Two Nursing blocks. And several many other departments.
Course Curriculum is almost up to date. Most (80% ) of the faculty are PhD. Teaching style is also very good other than few teachers reaming all are good efficient, technically sound, meritorious, understandable. Term exams happen according to the academic calendar. There is no delay. Fee hike is done every year, Around 2000 to 3000 rupees in tuition fees are increased. Subsequently, the hostel fee also rises, but not every year. After few(2/3) years, hostel fee rises. You will get a Scholarship based on 12th marks. Marks(60-70?) - 20 scholarship Marks(70-80?) - 30 scholarship marks(80-90?) - 40 scholarship More than 90% - 100 scholarship (Noted: Scholarship is only on Admission fee I.e around 50% of tuition fee) . For example, The tuition fee is 1,40,000 and I get a 30% scholarship but technically I get a rebate of 33,705 rupees.
No, I have not done any internship yet. Since I am in 2nd year now. The internship will be done in 3rd year if I am eligible or I have that level of education and skills. Many of my seniors do internships on their own
Placement is decent, Most companies are 4.6 to 10 lpa. Other than 10 LPA are very few but there are opportunities on campus. If you work hard you get very much. For this year 32Lpa is On campus's highest. Then 22 lpa then 16 and many more. The average is 5 -6 lpa. Many companies also come of sales. Students who study a bit more get placed in truth. Students who don't study are not placed. Opportunities are ample. I will be doing the job from campus and landing in it. Many good companies came who give 8-16 lpa on average.
Overall, Believe me, it has an overall package for every social aspect. National level Fest "UniverersuMM" is celebrated around Diwali every year. Other than this, we have 2 or 3 more small festivals Last year it was AIU (ALL INDIA YOUTH FESTIVAL) Hosted by MMDU on a National level, Most of the northwest zone universities Participated. We have a fest Pharma carnival organized by the Department of Pharmacy at the university level. Then we have a fest for fresher students namely "Navpratibha" And many more fests happen. Clubs are mainly -GDSC(GOOGLE DEVELOPER STUDENT CLUB), Codes, ROBOTRONICS these all are technical, and Dance Club at a university level.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
