- The only thing I like in the college is it's environment.
Dislikes
- Everything!!!!! It's a just one small building with 3 classroom on each floor. No wifi. No proper printers. No good protectors.
- The faculty don't know how to teach. They just come read the ppt slides and leave.
Remarks :
The only factor was that my parents didn't allow me to go to another state for studies. Yes I had to give GCET to get an admission in goan engineering colleges. The college lacks basic facilities, such as sports equipments. Events organization is worth 2 rupees. There are literally no events held in this college. They just keep crying for money. No proper events are organised. Even family functions are better than this college events. They do bare minimum on events. They can't even have a proper stage for students to perform, students literally fall off from the stage while performing. The chairman is an mla and still cries to fund our events. The teaching staff from my department are very rude and toxic.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because in 2021 this course was among the top courses in engineering. The faculty is qualified masters. They just come read the ppt slides and walk off. There is barely any practical implementation.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, the worst internship ever. I ashamed to even name the company I worked in. The company is into UI/UX. They don't even have a office. They gave us remote work. When asked about office address they made several excuses.
Placement Experience :
Just one company visited are college the stem and they took aptitude test after which did not even send as the results of it and we he literally have no companies visiting a college of the back. They just keep giving credits for themselves when students crack off campus interviews
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our semester wise fees is actually around 60000 but we have a golden Jubilee scheme which marks the golden Jubilee of directorate of technical education, goa. Hence we pay around 23000 per semester. This is only for student having a 15 year residence in goa. For students outside goa it's the same fee, i.e 60000-70000. Paying this amount of money for a college which doesn't even provide you basic facilities is a total waste. Where as the students from that village have to pay bare minimum fees like 1000 rupees per sem.
Campus Life :
There are no events held here. Just a small sports day kind of a thing on a veryyyy small scale. One technical event and one cultural event. Which looks like we're entered some rural govt school. There are no clubs as such for anything. There are no sports equipment, if there are they're all broken.

I choosed this course because the course covers all the aspect of commerce field . The teaching method and quality is also very good . We have smartboard in every classroom . All the professors use smartboard to teach . We have 3 isa in which 1st one is compulsorly and in 2nd and 3rd isa we get improvement chance which helps us to score better in term exam as the marks of isa are added in term exam .

At the end of the 3rd year Campus placement starts and I would like to tell that many 4-5 star hotel come to campus for placements Like TAJ , Hyatt , many airports companies Lowest package was around 2.5L annually and highest was around 6-7L per annum

Placements and internships are good there are two internship seasons named as PS1 and PS2 which is based on our curriculum. During the past 2 years the placements have not been that great because of the ongoing recession. But still companies are coming with less packages and students are getting placed but frequency is less. My plan after the degree is to get some job experience and then I will try to go pursue MBA.

Great ! You can get it easily in your preferred city/country. There are many hotels which are linked to iihm so interships and placements are easily available in your preference. Good fot that reason.

Faculty are very experienced and distinguished personalities they are very knowledgeable in their fields. The course here is very tough. Scholarship is available in 2 channels 1st is merit scholarship, the 2nd is merit cum need scholarship.

On campus placements are offered every year. The highest package last year was around 60 lakh while the lowest was 8lpa. Out of all the students only one student wasn't placed which gives us almost 100% placement rate. Almost all top companies visit our college including Google, Amazon, Facebook etc.

Placements are excellent. Top companies have hired freshers from here . My branch CSE has 100% placement rate and overall all branches have 99% placement rate . Usually students are offered on campus placements so there is no need to go for off campus opportunities
