- I like the lush green campus,with people from all parts of the country.We have a beautiful campus with a big library.There are a lot of places to chill.
- A whole lot of clubs help us in excelling in different fields.We get a lot of opportunities in internships.
Dislikes
- college located in remote area so less connectivity.Located far away from the main town.
- hostels require maintenance and the food quality in mess and canteens need to be improved
Remarks :
good aspects: 1.modern facilities,labs, and a lush green campus. 2.overall good placement. 3.lower tution fees compared to private colleges bad aspects: 1.location is remote ,impacting connectivity. 2.hostel facilities require maintenance and also the mess food is average and sometimes bad. The admission process is only through JOSAA councilling after qualifying JEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of my interest in technology and innovation and also because of the ever growing semiconductor industry. The faculties is highly qualified with Ph.D or M.tech degrees and the teaching method is fairly updated with respect to modern times. Term exams at NIT Agartala are conducted timely each semester.Difficulty is moderate,requiring conceptual clarity and practice.
Internships Opportunities :
as i am in 3rd semester so i haven't opted for any internship till now. internships are provided by TCS,Wipro,Nvidia,etc the stipend may vary from 5000 to 80000. projects include minor and major projects in each semester.
Placement Experience :
recruiters like Wipro ,Oracle, Nvidia, Qualcomm have visited and offers made vary from 3 to 7. highest package from my branch is 52 lpa and average package is 11 lpa. 97% of students from my branch gets placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get placed in a high paying company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the yearly fees i pay is around 15000.As i belong to SC category so i don't have to pay the tution fees. however the general category students have to pay an amount of around 140000 yearly which includes tution fees. Scholarships include: ishan uday:8000 per month for up to 10 months(only for 1st year degree students from northeast having family income not exceeding Rs 4.5 lakh per annum) Pragati scholarship scheme for girl students(50000 per year)
Campus Life :
fests include: AAYAM(Technical Fest)-March Moksha(Cultural Fest)-February IGNITE(Sports fest)-January Wide range of textbooks,reference materials,subject specific books and journals are available. Most of the classrooms are equipped with smart boards or projectors Free internet in the campus is provided We have a sports complex with all the different sporting areas.It also has a gym. Social clubs include Robotics club,coding club,dance club,music club,literary club,photography club,meme club,etc.These have their social media handles too maintained by students.
Hostel Facilities :
the food quality is average. once you get admitted in the college there is a detailed registration process for hostel and hostels are affordable too. The locality is not that good.It would be better to take hostel than to rent a room or PG.And to be honest very few PGs may be available in the locality.

Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.

Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.
