the legacy this college has had is very wonderful as one of my own family members have been a student at this college and now owns a successful architecture firm that deals internationally too therefore the choice. the faculty is very experienced as if theoretically and practically too with on had site experiences and a lot to share amongst their personal projects too. plus the student-faculty relationship is surprisingly healthy and they offer to help you out voluntarily. overall its the legacy and the people of the college that attracted me to join the college. plus the location that is sector 55 in gurgaon is an attractive location with various hang out spots nearby and connected to the golf course road so it makes of an attractive decision.
as a second year architecture student i would say that its a well thought of college when it comes to its curriculum and program. a good 7.5 out of i would say. the course seems well structured with us learning the basics first and moving on to more complex learnings as in the 2nd year. faculty emphasizes on the learning of newer 3d modelling software. it gets difficult surely during mid sems and the end sems because of the high demand for submissions from the students. not an easy course but definitely a very interesting and a creative one.
no i still havent opted for an internship but i have been contacted several times through our college's network training centers for internship and learning opportunities. but the best i can say is yes there are adequate intern opportunities. plus i am rating my placement as a 5 because i still dont have very much knowledge about it.
the placements are well spread over some good architecture firms like 42mm architecture. although as a second year student i cant discuss muvh about the placements but knowing some seniors that have gone to jobs via placements said that thaey have a positive review about the placement criteria. there is though a strict marking scheme that one must understand to follow up with better placements.
the fee for the course is 5 lakh per year. you can pay it 50-50 in the 2 semesters. although there is a late fee fine program which the management puts on you and it needs to be cleared anyhow before you give your exams or else you are not eligible to sit for the exams. the total fees of the course itself is 25 lakhs. however as an architecture college you may add another 10 lakhs for your stationery, trips and printing and model charges.
its neither very flamboyant nor very dull. the famous artist king and jassi gill have performed during my time at the college and further the architecture division of the college hosts many events of their own which are all fun. the library is like the main highlight for the students of arch as there is a massive library full of all the books you will ever need to complete this course. this includes research papers from the pass out students too. the sport category is somewhere along the mid line as there are no major events out there but every year the college hosts an inter course sports competition which is always a blast as i perform in it too and other than that we basically have our own sport events and out of the campus friendly matches which is great . there are a lot of groups and clubs like music drama dance fashion publication etc.
the hostel is a decent space to live in. obviously its not a luxury stay but the students don't find such an issue accommodating in the premises. there are 2 options of sharing that is triple and double sharing and you cant opt for a single accommodation. there are further 2 variants for the rooms that is deluxe that is the basic one and then the premium that is a slight upgrade that includes better bathrooms and better flooring in the room. the food however isnt the best thing about it but its manageable. the ordering timings are an issue as no orders are allowed to come in after 10;30pm.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
