MY GENIUNE EXPERIENCE AT GEC GANDHINAGAR
Remarks :
The factors which made me to choose this college is first of all affordability I must say compare to any other private colleges to which students are paying in lakhs for that.No we won't have to face any group discussions interview or written test for the admission.The admission process for the government colleges is directly from the ACPC form to which that is the only key to take admission in the government colleges and for the suitable courses you should match your all Gujarat rank which would be given by the colleges.In ACPC there are 3 rounds to which the first one is the demo round in which students can make the list of their colleges and can upload it in ACPC form through which the software will allocate them the colleges according to their rank. The good aspects is Attendance they are not much strict in that. For specific subjects only attendance is mandatory otherwise it won't matter. The bad aspect I would talk about is infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course curriculum is of 4 years each 6 months for per semester in which starting of the two months they take the mid semester exams of 30 marks and after three months we would be having final sem examination of 70 marks to which in between we have to submit our lab manuals , assignment, projects etc. Truly about why did I choose this course is that I didn't get in CE department to which I have to take in EC field, Though passing every semester I got more interested and enthusiastic to explore in it and participate in several competitions to which faculty too supported in it. The teaching method of faculties is good and their qualification is about 10+ or more than that years in this field. Talking about the difficulty level of the exams is not much hardest but at last it depends on the students.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities is not that good but if the students have skills and enough knowledge to pass the interview so it can crack the highest package. The eligibility criteria is to pass the aptitude test of the company like Infosys,TCS etc and based on that they have been shortlisted for the further process.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The above fees which I have written is the total of the two semesters which is per semester fees is sometimes 1485 or 1405 approximately it will cost around 2900/- only which is obviously affordable to the students. So last sem I paid 1480 fees(including all library fees, Gymkhana fees etc). Even every government college there is the same fees structure for every 4 years in BE degree. And other paying fees is about our end sem examination (GTU) which cost us around 850/- and it's mandatory to pay in the given timeline or else penalty would be applied. This is the only compulsory charges we have to pay we doesn't have to pay for lab or development fees etc. Talking about the batchmates the girls would having the advantage by paying less or null fees. The scholarship which is available for students is MYSY for which they have to match the eligibility criteria to apply in this scholarship. Hope so I have answered all questions.
Campus Life :
The life in campus will only be best if you have got good company in your surroundings for doing different activities or entertaning ourselves. There been having Gtu fest in the month of August-September every year. Yes there would be availability of all book which students want from the library or . Talking about amenities you can see that it's the government college so you wouldn't get every facilities which you been expecting but at last you would be satisfied for what amenities college is provided. Yeah there been also the sports every year which been called as Khel Mahotsav to which sports enthusiastic students tak participate in it and they get the certificate for it. At last talking about the clubs there been different clubs like ECell GEC, Club Ide , Robotics club etc And also the common group for providing regular updates happening in the colleges. And these clubs organises different events like hackathon or ideathon for the different departments students.

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
