At my time to get admission in the university was based on 12th percentage. There were 3 cutoff list but now it is based on JEE mains as it is a state university and if your name is not in the cutoff list you can take admission by coming in open merit list which happens if there are seats available after 3 merit list.
As my course was Btech CSE with specialisation in AI, so this course is very relevant as every one is shifting to AI and if you master it, it will help you alot. And about faculty they were average you have to study on your own. Diring each semester there were 2 unit test and and end semester exams and practicals.
I didn’t opted for any internship opportunities provided by our college but there were 3 companies which came to our college and were mostly startups and they were offering 10k to 15k stipends for the internship
At my time there were only 2-3 companies that visited our university but they were not that good so most of us are placed offcampus through LinkedIn and other platforms. But currently they are brining companies and organising many seminars for stundent but at the end it depends on yourself like how many have you prepared for the jobs and all. So my verdict will be do not depend on yourself college be it any college but depend on yourself to learn and grow.
My year wise fees was 40000. It was same for all the categories. Admission fees was 45000 thousand were 5000 were refundable and development fees, lab fees and other chargers were included in 40000. Scholarships were available for students according to the marks and categories.
During my time university was still in development phase so we didn’t have many clubs but now there are bunch of clubs and infrastructure has improved significantly. Now they are also organising universities level sports and dance competition. They also have websites which is run by university itself. And you can be sure if one thing that library is really good you’ll be able to have the required books which are neend throughout your degree.
Our college didn’t provided the hostel facilities as they didn’t have hostel so my friends which were from out of the town rented pgs which are available within 1 km of radius from the university and are affordable
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
