Good campus life
Remarks :
The college had a good name and had supportive teaching faculty. The college is situated near the Sangam river and had all the transport facilities nearby. I did not face any written test or interview as i got admitted by my 12th merit.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The food sector is now becoming a blooming sector. The growing opportunities in food processing technology made me choose the course. The faculty members were supportive and highly educated. Everyone had their unique teaching style and helped every student. The semester exams were held at the end of every semester and the exams difficulty level ranged from moderate to difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
I reached the companies on my own for internship as the college did not provide with much opportunities. We were not given stipend during the internship period. The roles offered were quality executive, quality assistant etc.
Placement Experience :
Not many students got placed in the last three years. 30-40% of the students got placed with the average package of 6lpa. The lowest package offered was 3lpa. The top recruiters included Parle, Amul, etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee is 70000 per semester and also had 3500 examination every semester that made yearly fees 147000. Students will be charged alumini fee of 1500 and convocation fee 1000 in their last semester. The university provides financial aid to the students in need.
Campus Life :
The university had different departments and every department had their own fests on different months. The biotech department had their annual fest in the month of March, the food processing department had their food fest every year in October. The library was well equipped and all the required books and journals. The university have their annual sports event in March.
Hostel Facilities :
The university had 7 girls hostel and 5 boys hostel. The mess provided three meals everyday and evening snacks. Students can register for hostel through university website. The hostel is affordable for all. I stayed in the hostel for two years and rented a room in the locality nearby.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
