My honest review about SNS college of technology
Likes
- I like the lawn in the centre of the campus and there is also cafe and food court inside the campus. The classrooms are comfortable with enough space.
- Faculties here are very supportive and encouraging . They help us in all means to make us knowledgeable.
Dislikes
- Inside classroom we must follow strict dress code.
- The subjects are more theoretical which I dislike the most .
Remarks :
There is no group discussions ,interviews or written tests for admission. I choose this college because it’s situated in Coimbatore where i live and it is one of the top college in Coimbatore . For computer science and engineering they expect 160 cutoff mark. The admission process was very simple to me as I joined through counselling I filled few forms and submitted my certificates and payed the joining fee.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because there a vast amount of opportunities available after course completion and the faculties here are qualified enough , every classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors which saves more time writing on black board. There will be 3 Internal Assessments for each semester and it is conducted once in a month and it is moderately difficult. Even semesters are conducted in december and odd semesters are conducted in May, and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes , I had an opportunity to intern at markdot intellect and prime solutions where I enhanced my knowledge in full stack development and build few projects like e commerce site and fruit ripeness detector etc.
Placement Experience :
We are eligible for placements from 6th semester (3 rd year) the companies visited are Accenture, CTS , SOTI , Cartrabbit , Course 5i , IBM etc. The highest package is around 13.5 LPA , and the average package is 4.5 LPA. 80 -85 percent of students are getting placed with an average package of 3.5 - 4 LPA. My plan is to get placed in reputed company and save decent amount of money and invest in crypto.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Each year i pay 70000 rupees as tuition fees and during each semester i pay around 4000 - 5000 rupees as exam fees , development fees , lab fees are all included in the tuition . The management students pay 115000 , I joined through counselling and I am first graduate so I pay only 70000 each year . My batchmates like IT,AIML pays 100000 and 95000 respectively. Siblings scholarship is available and it’s completely free for the younger one .
Campus Life :
Once we join SNS college of technology we can enjoy all four years with unlimited entertainment as there are more than 2 malls nearby . Inside the campus there is Library with almost all necessary books for all the courses . SNS gives more importance to sports and extracurricular activities like football, cricket, volleyball and NSS,NCC respectively and also there are various student run clubs available like music club , dance club , pets clubs etc..
Hostel Facilities :
I didn’t opted for hostel but my friends who opted for hostel say the food quality is very average and the menu is very minimal. The hostel fee is too much it costs around 80000 each year with unhealthy food and unhygienic restrooms, bathrooms.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
