- Infrastructure is average, faculties here are good except few with attitude, a good campus life naturally 20 % of what you expect while preparing for jee

- Infrastructure could have been more better it's too old ,some faculties have too much attitude

HBTU Kanpur is spread across two campuses East campus in 77 acres and West campus in 252 acres they both are situated 3 kms apart in main kanpur , lush green campus,strong alumni network worldwide, it's 100 years of legacy proves it's worth in India, peaceful surroundings Being a widely recognised college it doesn't have much support from the government,it's infrastructure is not too attractive . To apply for admission students need to clear jee mains and must have 75 percent in 12th class
Course Curriculum Overview :
Reason to choose chemical engineering in HBTU is that it is known for its Chemical Engineering and most of the successful alumnus of this college are from chemical engineering department . Faculties are experienced as well as great as well as some faculties are graduates from IIT kanpur and their qualification are post graduate or phd scholar but not all faculties are good many faculties have attitude problem , teaching methods are theoretical not too much advance During first year you will have exams after every month, difficulty level is mostly medium not too hard not too easy
Internships Opportunities :
There are many opportunities as our college is hosting Indacon an international event where students get a chance to directly interact with alumnus or researchers who visit for this event they provides worthy students with paid internship
Placement Experience :
To be eligible for placement you need to atleast have 6.5 cgpa and the companies visiting HBTU are Samsung ,wipro,TCS, asian paints etc our colleges highest package upto date is 40 lpa and average is 7 lpa Approx 75 to 80 percent students get placed every year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees for 1st year is 135000 rupees in which tuition fees is 75000 and the other 60000 is divided as I)for Registration examination and certification it's 10000 II) medical fee is 3000 III) training and placement charges 4000 IV) caution money 5000 V) activity charges 3000 VI) university alumni fund 1500 VII) student aid 1500 VIII) Contingency &misc 1500 All total this( I to VIII) equals 60000 And for 2nd to 4th year fees cost is 127500 In which tuition fees 75000 And university examination fees 7000 University development 14000 Student welfare fund 500 University miscellaneous fees 29500 Medical insurance premium 1500 This is the fees for general and OBC category
Campus Life :
Every year we have a sports fest of 5 days namely aagaz in which we have different sports competition and technika is our technical fest. HBTU library contains books related to courses and many books related to history it also has 100 years old books, Also it has a section of spritual books and novels Classroom for first years are air conditioned but they doesn't work as per requirements As for clubs we have 9 sub councils Notion is a website run by HBTU students where we have uploaded notes of all subjects from 1st year to 4th year also you can get notes of IIT kanpur and csjmu
Hostel Facilities :
First years hostels for boys are in east campus and for senior there hostels are in west campus only girls from 1st to 4th year have their hostel in east campus Fir first years there are two hostels in one of them known as ramanujan there are two seaters and single seaters rooms and the other known as Shridharacharya it has two seaters and three seaters as for food quality it's average

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
