- The campus life is so chill and there is no restriction.
- The faculty is very good and helpful and easy to reach anytime if facing any problem.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is outdated and campus area is not that big .
- The canteen is not good and have to go outside for good food .
Remarks :
I chose this College because financially it's in my budget and i can easily afford it . Secodnly, it's close to my house so it's easy for me to travel everyday and the faculty of computer Science branch is very helpful, kind and have good knowledge of their subjects. There are no restriction in campus as well , so easy to have fun around in free time as well. But the canteen and mess is not that well , only essentials are provided like cold drinks and packaged food and snacks. So that's the thing that can be improved. The campus has not that much campus area and only have one main building. So not much to explore . The admission process is purely based on 12th percentage in PCM and you get scholarship based on the percentage as well . There is no cutt off or GD/PI but yes there is seat criteria, only 60 students per branch .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i want to work in a MNC as a software engineer and this course have all the relevancy to be a software engineer. It includes the main coding languages that help to be a good engineer in my field and excel on bigger level. The faculty is very much qualified as of PHD degree holder in their particular subject and the teaching method is very much practical using projector and labs for better experience. The faculty is very good and always up for help . The term exam happened every 6 months and the difficulty is quite high.
Internships Opportunities :
No i have not opted for the internship. IIT mandi provides the internship in data science and many other field for CSE students in our college. The internship stipend is based on the performance and which would be around 15k after the training which will be provided. The projects are such as accident severity prediction and e commerce sales prediction, which includes python coding , machine learning algorithms and tableau , sql language as well . These type of projects are done with the real world experience during internship.
Placement Experience :
After the second year you're eligible for placement and internships. Infosys visited our campus fir recruitment and number of offers made is around 15 . The highest package is 5 lakhs and average package is 2 lakhs for the profile of software engineer at Infosys. The percentage getting placements is around 30%. My plans after getting the degree is to go for higher studies like MBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is 40k which includes everything apart from the exam fees that is 1500 rupees. The SC , ST category get scholarship based on their category and the students can get scholarship based on the marks in PCM subjects in 12th with the condition to pass every exam without any backlogs.
Campus Life :
The fest occurs based on festival themes , Technical themes , and the events for freshers, farewell for seniors and the competition events organised atleast once in a month. Then there are annual event as well which happened yearly. The library is fully air conditioned and very quite to study easily and all types of books are available which includes books of course and books for higher exam preparation and weekly magazines and newspapers. There are many sports event organised between the different stream and also have a prize for winning team. In free period you can play any game you want like cricket, table tennis , basketball, skating , badminton. And you can opt games or art and craft as a curricular activities. There is no social group or club in college.
Hostel Facilities :
No i have not opted the hostel but i know the details as my friend opted for it . The food quality is very average and the menu includes roti and seasonal vegetables. that's all. The process for getting a hostel is to just go to admin office and Talk to the Administrative officer about this and you have fill a form which includes your all personal details and consent from your parents as well. The fess is 60k per year that is quite affordable. The locality around is a village and the rented room or pg will be difficult to find and if available near the city that would not be affordable.

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
