- The placement department is really hardworking and pushes every student to industry
- The technical labs , the research paper and patent support monthly research conferences extra educational courses subscription
Dislikes
- Campus Life is not very good campus is also not great no such big events just only clubs and their activities run by students
- The infrastructure is old and outdated irrespective of the labs they are really good. Classes are non AC so in summer it heats up
Remarks :
The factors that I choose this college was the NIRF ranking which is 121 till 2023-24 ranking And there were no Group Discussion or interviews or written test for the same Actually there are 2 mode of admission the direct admission or management quota admission The 2nd is the Uptu counselling I admitted through the counselling where I recieved the fee waiver (FW) seat through the Merit as 10 % seats are FW seats in every branch .
Course Curriculum Overview :
As it is the Autonomous the course curriculum is somehow different from other colleges as it focuses on subjects learning that are used in industry , College at academic level is really good but the amount of good faculties is a major cons of this college as the faculties have great qualifications but not able to teach students in a way students didn't need to work hard the students need to study on their own to pass the exam
Internships Opportunities :
There is startup incubator at NIET which often offers internship opportunities at their company such that student get industry exposure basically with no stripend the college does not offer as such official internships students have to apply for same on their own
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria of placement is no backlog till 6 th semester and minimum 60% marks Some of the visited recruiter were Capgemini, accenture, coforge, infosys, Amadeus labs, TCS, autodesk, juspay, josh technology etc No of offers till now for 2025 batch is around 1000 including all btech students all branch and all the companies visited till now Highest was 32lpa Previous batch was 98% placed My plans to get a job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is 150000 approx each yr which include all the examination fees library fees extra curricular cultural fees As it is the Autonomous college so the back paper fees is 1800 per subject. Also the fees break out is 109000 is the tution fees and rest 30-40 thousand is the others fees including examination expenses. It also offers FW seats through UPTU Counselling and also supports National and State level scholarship provided by the government
Campus Life :
Life at campus is average. As there no big events or celebrities or the concerts Social life is also average as the college discipline is very strict Infrastructure in case of building is average but the commodities the labs and computers , the ptc lab , ar vr lab and some technical labs are really top notch which give real industry exposure.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but as from my friends I know it's not worth it to give that much money in college hostel which is not worth it so I would suggest go for Private hostel outside the campus which would be more value for money

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
