- University campus is very calm, full of green trees. It is one of the most green campus
- University campus is also a ragging-free campus. So, anyone coming here is safe from ragging!
Dislikes
- Very less or no fests at all. There is one annual fest of whole university, called 'Ratnawali', which have fixed programs.
Remarks :
Admission in UIET, KUK is purely based on merit list of jee mains through HSTES online counselling. HSTES is haryana's state level government online counselling platform for admission in colleges. Jee mains cutoff for Btech CSE was 160000 recently, and for ece, it was 3 lakh
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I am more towards hardware instead of software. Moreover, going towards electronics and communication gives me ample amount of options and opportunities for go for further studies. Faculty in uiet, kuk is supportive, practical, and qualified with good experience. But some of the teachers, who are newly appointed are not upto tha mark. Exams occur thruce in a semester, 2 are sessional exams, 15 marks each, and then the final exams.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placements is minimum 7 cgpa maintained overall. Minimum package offered by companies is 3 lakh per annum. Average package is around 4.5 lakh per annum. And highest package offered by Bel was 13 lakhs per annum for 3 students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fee for first semester is 45000 (inc registration fee), and for rest semesters, it is around 40000. So around 85000 will be tution fee for 1 year. Talking about hostel fee, It is around 50000 per year incluiding mess fee. (Mess fee - 3000/months, 5000/month room fee+ maintenance charge) A lot of options for scholarship.
Campus Life :
Honestly, event managing faculty of uiet is very week in organizing events. If they organise one, then students show no interest in participating. Recently diwali fest happened near diwali, which was very good. Books for all branches are available in library. There is also a common room in library, where students can study. Some of the classes have projectors, which some have not, Infrastructure is not so old.

The professors are highly approachable and are well versed with their subjects. Use of new innovative teaching techniques are used. Strictly follows PCI guidelines, conducting 2 sessional exams followed by final semester exam.

You're eligible for job if you're in your final year and not have any backlog in any subjects of the previous semesters then you can participates in the placement drive cells happens every year , the highest package was about 4 lakh and the average package was 1 lakh 50 thousand and about 60-70 percent students were placed

Its career development department helps students to get good placements. Many known pharmaceutical firms come here. This shows that students who complete a B.Pharm. degree at this university can have great career opportunities.

You have to be in the last semester to receive placemnet offers. There is no explicit eligibility criteria for it though. Some of the recruiters here include Manipal, Appolo, Fortis, Medanta. The highest package that i heard was 8LPA and teh average is around 4-5LPA. About 50-60% stduents acceot the placements. I personally want to be a paramedic at a top notch facility.
