In my knowledge NIET is the second best college next to G.L.Bajaj and I was not admitted in GL Bajaj so I choose this college. As my admission was through aktu/uptu councelling i didn't have to face any interview or written test
Course Curriculum Overview :
As my course(aiml) is quite technical so practicals are very much required and the best this about this college is that it's starting to incline more towards practical than theoretical studies which is quite helpful for blooming students
Internships Opportunities :
I'm in second year right now so intership is not possible but college is preparing us well for intership through various online programs and workshops. We are constantly working on our practical skills
Placement Experience :
The college provides intership in third year of college and it provides many workshop thought various reputed companies which helps a lot in intership and placement later on. The workshop is very strict and and low attendance is not tolerated at all
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The AKTU/UPTU registration fee is 20,000 which is later compensated in your college first year fee which is 75,000 and for the next three years the college fee is 50,000 which includes text books and uniform
Campus Life :
There are two seperate campuses for first year and rest of the year The first year campus aka new campus was more of like a school, there were many restrictions but the other campus(old campus) is very good. The building is quite old but it's still works

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
