- The college is quite open and refreshing place, though having an older infrastructure, it doesnt seem to bother much, there are many trees around the area as well making the place refreshing.
- The campus life is fun due to friends, and lack of ragging is really good compared to other colleges were ragging is present.
Dislikes
- The thing to dislike is the lack of good quality food, the not so well developed city of thanjavur.
- Also as said the infrastructure could use an upgrade as it havnt been renovated and is one of the oldest college in tamilnadu
Remarks :
Good number of patient inflow, a location that is fine to stay at , among the colleges that was available within my marks range. The bad aspect is the weaker infrastructure, the campus being one of the oldest colleges in tamil nadu have its problems though not too significant, can be adjusted. although the hostel quality is poor and also the mess food is quite poor. I had to crack NEET exam, got 627/720 to get into this college.the cut off back in 2023 was also 627 marks
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers are all well versed in their subjects, they are quite helpful and teaches in interesting methods for better understanding. they are all very supportive and helpful to the students and will help with any problems, academically or otherwise. i chose this course due to its respect and the morals behind the duties of a doctor, its importance. the exams takes place thrice a week, 80 marks exams , and there are no exams on the third saturday.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is provided by the college itself at the end of the 4 year course, it is a must done process for 1 year, It is a compulsory program and everyone completing the 4 year course have to complete the 1 year internship in that college itself inorder to get the doctors license.
Placement Experience :
There are no placements offered in this course and in this college. I plan on pursuing further education, going for a post graduate degree after completion of mbbs. Though there is a 1 year internship program which is compulsory to take part after completing the 4 year course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
13 thousand per year, not availing any scholarship programs, there are additional fees asked by departments for Maintenace but these are not of much significance., the tuition fees is 13000 for the first year but it is 8300 from second year all the way to 4rth year
Campus Life :
The students are all friendly and helpful. Regarding the programs there is a pongal during pongal mostly on january, a sports program called rivalria , a culturals program during september mostly and also the graduation ceremonies. there are plenty of books and journals available in the campus library which is accessible to everyone. Sports is an important part of the college as the college supports a large variety of sports like hockey volleyball, football, cricket, badminton, chess etc. Regarding social groups there are instagram pages run by the college students, as for websites there are none so far.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is poor , the menu is fine but the taste is not really appetizing, though there have been improvements since coming to the college. Registration process for the hostel are quite simple, requires filling some papers and paying the fees, it is around 6000 per month including the food and hostel.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
