A very ligh hearted review of my small but happening college.
Likes
- The hostel is a great place and it's quite nice too. We have a cleaning staff here so we don't have to clean our own rooms.
- The campus building is nice, but we are expecting a new and a much bigger campus by the end of 2026
Dislikes
- There is nothing that I dislike, the only thing that I would say is we don't have our own playground yet.
- We do have less faculty, and sometimes the faculty is overburdened. But the faculty is very supportive and even our Vice Chancellor is very supportive.
Remarks :
As such no group discussions, and no interview. I did gave an entrance test but now the college take admission on the basis of CLAT scorecard. They used to take their own test called IIULET, but due to lack of people not knowing they'll start taking kids by CLAT
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is well stated and there is lack of faculty because as the college is new but the administration is searching and hiring new faculty. The faculty is well qualified most of them are foreign return.
Internships Opportunities :
IIULER, being a premier institution for legal education, likely offers a variety of internship opportunities to its students. The university may have collaborations with law firms, corporate legal departments, government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), research institutions, and the judiciary to facilitate internship placements.
Placement Experience :
As it is a college of bar council of India there is no issue in the placements and even in the internship. As I'm in the second batch, there is no placement yet. But we are expecting for a lot of firms and companies to hire us
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Academic fees per year is 620000 Rupees plus we have to pay a lump sum amount of 3 lakh as our hostel and amenities fees. There is 10% scholarship for the students who lie under EWS,SC and ST. And if you score more than 75%, 85% and 95% you'll get a relaxation of 25%, 50% and 60% in the academic fees respectively.
Campus Life :
The life is pretty amazing because it's Goa and there's nothing from which you can get bored, the social life is good because it's a small college so the environment is very friendly. The Hostel is one of the best hostels in India. It's basically a hotel. We have a library where we can find all the related books and documents. There is a sports event in every month or two and we have regular court visits and school visits.
Hostel Facilities :
The food is good here, better than any other mess. The hostel is basically a hotel which is rented and converted into a hostel. The locality is peaceful and our hostel and college is near the dabolim airport.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because the course covers all the aspect of commerce field . The teaching method and quality is also very good . We have smartboard in every classroom . All the professors use smartboard to teach . We have 3 isa in which 1st one is compulsorly and in 2nd and 3rd isa we get improvement chance which helps us to score better in term exam as the marks of isa are added in term exam .

At the end of the 3rd year Campus placement starts and I would like to tell that many 4-5 star hotel come to campus for placements Like TAJ , Hyatt , many airports companies Lowest package was around 2.5L annually and highest was around 6-7L per annum

Placements and internships are good there are two internship seasons named as PS1 and PS2 which is based on our curriculum. During the past 2 years the placements have not been that great because of the ongoing recession. But still companies are coming with less packages and students are getting placed but frequency is less. My plan after the degree is to get some job experience and then I will try to go pursue MBA.

Great ! You can get it easily in your preferred city/country. There are many hotels which are linked to iihm so interships and placements are easily available in your preference. Good fot that reason.

Faculty are very experienced and distinguished personalities they are very knowledgeable in their fields. The course here is very tough. Scholarship is available in 2 channels 1st is merit scholarship, the 2nd is merit cum need scholarship.

On campus placements are offered every year. The highest package last year was around 60 lakh while the lowest was 8lpa. Out of all the students only one student wasn't placed which gives us almost 100% placement rate. Almost all top companies visit our college including Google, Amazon, Facebook etc.

Placements are excellent. Top companies have hired freshers from here . My branch CSE has 100% placement rate and overall all branches have 99% placement rate . Usually students are offered on campus placements so there is no need to go for off campus opportunities
