- Faculty is not upto the mark and don't help the students much.
- Management is very lax and makes late decisions often.
- Distance from main city is huge, and the taxis charge vey high.
Remarks :
I choose this college, because among the private colleges, this one has somewhat of a good reputation with NIRF ranking 12 and promises good placement opportunities for all the students based on performance. The student intake, however, is a problem. The competition is huge in the college and it is difficult to stand out among the talents. However, the campus is so, and so the hostel life is relatively good. There's many fests which happen occasionally and tons of events. Scholarships are there, based of performance or based on the rank achieved in entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are not that good. SRM has a huge faculty but out of them, only some have the capabilities to teach properly. Exams have no fixed schedule and depending on the faculty, they can be conducted any time of the week. The management is absolutely bad. Semester exams are relatively easier than class test.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am still in first year, the only internship I got was once from the college. It was a startup based in the college itself where they taught us various basic stuff. No stipend was provided as it was solely for experience.
Placement Experience :
Decent placement stats overall. In a class of seventy, average package goes around 7 LPA with highest being 22 lpa and lowest 4lpa. Around 90% of students in a class gets places which is really good for a private college. However, to achieve placement, the student must have a high gpa i.e. above 8.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees are different from all branches. Highest being of CSE Core, i.e. 425000 inr. Scholarships are available based on performance or rank in the SRMJEEE exam ranging from 90% waiver to 10% waiver. Exam fees are around 500 per subject. If a student fails or is detained, they are supposed to pay 15000 inr to redo a course as arrear.
Campus Life :
With a big campus, the social life is relatively good. The college is a very happening place with lots of events and fests happening throughout the year. The library is huge and stocked with all the books you may need. Extracurricular activities and sports facilities are also there with clubs related to them.
Hostel Facilities :
The menu is diverse with something on it for everyone, be it north indian or south indian. You'll rarely get bored of the food. The menu also keeps changing every semester based on student feedback. The hostels vary based on your budget and pricing, they could range from sort of hotel room to worse.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
