Likes
- I love the college infrastructure because it is very spacious as well very well maintained, there will lots of trees sit outs, birds ducks, and other pet animals around the campus. fresh air, full of greenery and peaceful campus.
- Second I will definitely say teachers and HOD seniors are very friendly supportive, they teaches out of the box topics about industry exposure and skills and more.y
Dislikes
- The placement cell, they dont even care whether you placed or not, nothing they will care, worst ever placement cell, only 4 companies will come repeatedly
- Campus life was very boring and annoying there will no any extra curricular activity, inter college completions, cultural nothing will be there, the whole college life was very boring as they conduct nothing for engagement
Remarks :
I Choose mgr janaki college because it was affordable, had a good reputation and was close to my home. I also heard from my senior that faculty is supportive and the campus is safe for women, so this made me to choose this college. The admission process was very smooth and quick, you can apply on online or offline. There is so no such criteria like cut off, they only consider first come first served. they conducted a basic entrance exam like aptitude and math test. There is no need of preparation, as i said first come first serve will work out in this college. For example i applied very early after completing my schoolings. they called and asked to come in person to complete admission process but that time i dont have enough money to pay. After that i went and asked for 1st shift they denied to give, that time they said first come first serve only, i showed my marksheet by they did'nt accept.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose BBA because it aligned with my goal and interest. Teachers and HOD are awesome, they were very friendly and supportive, they had lot of knowledge, they supported students like anything, from internships to exams, project they supported us very good , all the teachers are well educated and there teaching method is very good. there will exams every semesters, and other internals will be there monthly weekly daily assessments they will conduct.
Internships Opportunities :
On the final year every student must do project on given topic from their teachers, and with the project they have to go to internship. College will not help for internship offer we have to search by our own. Personally i did internship at Morulaa Health Tech Pvt. Limited, Worked as HR trainee with 10,000 stipend The title of my project is employee satisfaction. The task is to work in a company and record the business process there objectives, functions, departments, technologies they used and finally take survey with the employee about there satisfaction on their work we recorded each of their answers through google survey and done project.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell is very worst, they don't even bother were you placed or not. the only thing i dislike in my college i would definetly say placement cell. There is no such eligibility criteria, only thing is arrear having students should not participate in job drive, once they cleared arears they can participate. Bajaj Fiserv, Garuda aeroscope, sutherland, And BPO companies came. There is very less member will be placed in the placement offer because all the companies gave very low package. Students should search for job outside, there is no guarantee in placement. I got 3 offers from placement but the company asked me to deposit money to get job so i declined the offer and searched job by my own.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure at MGR. janaki is different for each course, I paid 1,35,000 for this BBA degree . per year I paid 45,000 rupee. which is included tuition fees, caution fees, lab fees. admission fees, and regestration fees i paid separately for regestration they charged 300 rupees. and for admission they charged 1000 rupees. For the reserved category like sc/st students they charged less fees compared to other students. they paid 80,000 rupees for fees. and management students pay 1,00,000 rupees as fees. Only reserved caste students get scholarships and financial aids.
Campus Life :
They will celebrate all the indian festivals, but there will no engagement between the celebration time, because it was not the much grand or engaging. There is a big library and accessible to all the students, but there was no good books all the books are outdated and limited, Amenities in classroom is very basic the table chairs are very uncomfortable i even got back pain during that time. there will be big ventilators but they didn't maintain or clean regularly. There are several social groups, club, YOUTH CLUB, RED CROSS CLUB more..
Hostel Facilities :
First thing there is no hostel facility, we have to find accommodation as own. There is totally 3 canteens in the campus 2 canteens is for snacks and beverage and the other one is for lunch Food menu is very good they will continuously change menu and add new items in the list which is affordable and tasty. I stayed in my home, but my friend opted pg in adyar which is very near from our college, also there is many pg and rooms near the college campus.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
