- Firstly college life, even though its a boring campus i managed to find many beautiful souls that helped me pass through these 4 years.
- The campus even though its not big as other reputed colleges our campus will be neat and clean and has an decent infrastructure.
Dislikes
- The rules that this college forces us to follow.
- The staffs not all but yea most of the staffs wont be friendly.
Remarks :
I joined KCG through counceling. Theres 2 quota one is government quota and another one is management quota, since i came through counceling i was in government quota and thers no exams to get in to this college. you can get admision through counceling or u can join in management quota and fees will vary with the quota. And u need to be before rank 29200 in counceling to get into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose IT because i had interest in Coding languages and my dream was to land in an Tech job. Teaching method varies with staff, you can follow their method of teaching or u can also self learn if u are not satisified with the staffs teaching. In my opinion teaching in this college is good and the curriculum is changed in a was u can learn what u will be doing in the actual industry. You will have to write continious assessment 1 and 2 model exam and then your final semester and there will be a gap of 28 to 35 days with each exam.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opt for any intern but there are many students who are working part time in company through our college and the students who got intern opputurnity will also be allowed to work fully untill they finish the intern they don't have to come to college in that mean time.
Placement Experience :
Placement is actually dull this year maybe its because of the downfall of the market yet they find good oppturnities for the students and they will also provide training seassions to help students get their dream job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Recently our college increased the fees for 1 years who joined after 2023 batch. I had sc/st scholarship in which goverment will help me pay 55000. in first year my fees was 105000 in which 55000 was scholarship i only had to pay 47000, and The following 3 more years the fees was 93000 where i had to pay 38000 since i had scholarship.
Campus Life :
Life in this campus is boring and u are a guy/girl who wants to enjoy your college life u need to look for some other college, this college is strict and u cant bunk classes, take leave whenever u want without permision and u have to submit letter or each and every small mistake u make from forgetting id cart to bunking classed etc. For sports this college give a decent consideration and also u can get into sports quota through u graduate with zero fees. There are various clubs and u can join them as your wish
Hostel Facilities :
NO, i was a day schollar. But my friends who stayed in the college hostel would say that the rooms will be neat big enough and we can get the room as our requirment. there are AC and non-AC rooms and attached and non attached bathrooms. the price depends on the room u take up.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
