Likes
- I like about the college is their greenery and environment. Everyone was well behaved and the people there were great.
- Faculty members are nice and so decent. They are a good professional professors from good families as well.
Dislikes
- I dislike that the university is far away from the city and there’s only govt. buses which is a only travel option for us.
- Placement is not that great, depends on your hardwork and luck
Remarks :
The college is all girls college and the environment is very good like there’s so much greenery and away from the pollution from the city and the studies are also good. It is safe too. The admission can be offline as well as from the HSTES counselling and any counselling . There’s portal of college where you can apply and register. Based on your 12th marks and the seats left in that department you will get admission. It is very easy to get admission there or anyone from your known who is from this college and send you the link to fill the form , mainly it’s available on site.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is good as they have subjects like compiler design, C, OOPs ,DSA, Automata, computer networks, python, machine learning which is totally based on gate exam pattern and future placements
Internships Opportunities :
No i didn’t opted for any internship placement from college but at my time infosys solitaire from mohali came for internship program and it was non paid so many students opted for that. It was good and students said it’s knowledgeable.
Placement Experience :
At my time there was recession so only 7-8 students were placed but overall placement was good like for 2022 batch everyone was placed and now for 2025 many companies are coming. So basically it depends on luck. Highest oncampus package was 12 lpa , IBM. Only one girl was placed. You need to be so hard working and talented to get placement as it is a govt. college so that’s luck.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees was 47000 and we used to pay semester wise that was about 23000 something.i didn’t have scholarship or something. Registration fees was 1000 at that time for filling the form online in the portal. We also had a hostel fees for hostel students which was around 1-2 lakhs total. One of my friend was 15000 as she was from ews category.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is good but if you don’t like to stay in all girls college that’s not for you. The campus is very big and it has a mini market inside also and libraries. Now there’s e-rickshaw facility is available from 9-4 in morning and afternoon so that’s a great thing. Sometimes the small events also occur in university premises and girls there enjoy a lot. The BTech faculty is good and are knowledgeable. We don’t have social clubs as per now because of the social skills the girls have but can be included.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality of mess totally depends on days. Breakfast was good and lunch was okay on some days, some days not. The dinner was bad, as it used to be daal mostly so used to avoid that. Quality was okay btw there’s no issue. Hostel was really affordable and at first you need to pay 3-4 months mess fees and room rent was paid annually. So before 10th day of the month we used to pay mess fees.

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.

Placement Experience :
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Placement Experience :
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
