Remarks :
The main factors include the course that I love to pursue and this college has a high nirf ranking, currently it's ranked 11th in NIRF which is already good. It's easy to get admission in your desired branch here because the seats are high and the entrance exam is very easy
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is a bit concerning for ece because the subjects which should be taught are not up to date, we're still studying 8085 microprocessors in 3rd year of engineering which is what I feel is wrong because at this stage, we should be learning about the new microprocessor technologies. The faculties are one of the sweetest ones here. They're really helpful when it comes to academic. As compared to cse, the ece faculties are really passionate about their job, even though the placements are not as good as compared to cse, these faculties are never demotivated.
Internships Opportunities :
I got internship into Mettler Toledo India pvt Ltd by applying through off campus. It was an unpaid internship for a month and I worked on automation projects and checkweighers scales in industrial sector
Placement Experience :
The placements in the college are average for my branch but the placements for cse are really good. The average is around 7-8lpa and the highest package last year was 54lpa by De shaw. It's highly promising when compared to placement. I'm planning to go for future studies after this degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for electronics and communication engineering is around 2.5-3 lakh per annum. If you get under 2.5k rank in srmjeee, you will be given extra scholarship for that and your fees will come even more down. There's no fee waiver for caste category but only on merit. Moreover you need to score above 9 cgpa to keep the scholarship going on or else the scholarship will be terminated. Comparatively the course fees of ece is half that of the cse. CSE core can go upto 4.5-5 LPA.
Campus Life :
The campus life is average because the crowd here is absolutely large, you need to compete against 1000s of others for a job. The amenities on the other hand is really good. It has a 4 storey library with all the kinds of books available. It also has a big sports ground for your evening walks and football matches
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel food is a bit off, they do try to provide a wide range of food items but the taste is not really good, it's more of oily unhealthy foods. The hostel quality on the other hand is really good. I live in Nelson Mandela hostel of SRM which is the best hostel here. It's well equipped with centralized ACs, good ambiance and a homely feeling

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
