Remarks :
The fact I choose KIET college is because it is the best private college among all the colleges in AKTU. Placement rate is much better of this college if compare to other AKTU colleges. I took admission here by AKTU counselling. For which I have given JEE Mains exam in which my rank is 1,50,000. In AKTU counselling there are total 4 online rounds in which we have to fill the list of colleges in order as per our preference list.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Curriculum of our college is good as in 1st year itself we are learning web development, Python, C and data structure. Faculties of our college are very good as they have their education from IIT's and NIT's. Their teaching method is very good. They solve every student problem calmly. Every month we have one small level exam called mid semester exam and in the end of the semester there is End semester examination. The difficulty level of these exams is average. You can easily pass these exams if you have study sincerely.
Placement Experience :
To be very honest placements are not quite good enough. As there are more number students in the college so competition becomes much more tough to get place in the company. Mainly the eligibility criteria for placement is to score more than 8 CGA in exams. Main recruiters are Cognizant , Accenture, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year was gone of INR 60LPA in our branch but that is off campus placement. Average package is INR 5.5LPA. And nearly 92 percent students get placed in our college. My plans after getting degree is to work in Google company as a Software developer in it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees I paid for my 1st year is Rs. 140500. In which Rs. 112099 is tution fees, Rs. 6000 is book bank fees, Rs.3500 is registration fees, Rs. 20000 is admission fees and Rs. 700 is Medical fees. This is all for general caste student. Scholarships are also available in our college by College itself and U.P. Government for students whose family income is less than Rs. 200000 annually which is around Rs. 60000 for general student. College also grant scholarship to those students whose parents are not alive. And a small amount of fees increases every year.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is good. Every year we have 1 cultural fest which held in the end of March, 1 sports fest which commonly held in the month of February and few large scale hackathons. There is a huge library in the college which consists of thousands of books. And library opens till 5:00p.m.(for day scholars) and till 2:00a.m.(for hostellers). Smart classrooms are present in the college in which smart board are there, sockets are present on every table to charge our laptops and proper A.C. are present in the class. Different types of sports are present in our college and for every sport there is separate ground for it. There are many clubs in our college like tech clubs, dance clubs, different sports clubs, music clubs and drama clubs are also present. There are many Cafeterias in our college in every corner of the college.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I have opted for hostel. And my hostel name is Aryabhatt. The quality of food in hostel mess is very good. Different variety of food is provided every day. the infrastructure of the hostel is good. As my hostel room is triple sharing and the size of the room is big with every facilities needed by students. For triple sharing and without A.C. I paid Rs. 107000 as the hostel fees which includes mess also. There are many PG's near college for those students who does not get hostel.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
