Remarks :
IMS BHU is one of the best medical colleges in the country with the n i r f rank of 6. And since it is a central institute you don't need to fulfill any rural Bond after your MBBS. The general seats are closed at a rank of 1000 and OBC seats are closed at a rank of 1500
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBBS is a 5.5 year course which is divided into 4.5 years of academics and one year of compulsory rotatory internship in the hospital you are enrolled in. The faculty which teachers us are all doctors and are very experienced who have contributed significantly to the medical field either through research or their clinical skills. You need to pass early professional exams which are quite difficult to pass and exhausting but if you study your long properly you will get through. The Vivas are based on your clinical skills which are very important as your becoming a doctor.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is included in the curriculum of MBBS in which you have to work as an intern in the hospital you are enrolled in for 1 year. The internship is rotatory which means you will have to work in different departments which will provide you with adequate exposure and experience
Placement Experience :
MBBS has no such thing called campus placements after completion of your course you set for the post graduation exam based upon which you can choose which department you want to do post graduation in and after you completing your post graduation you can work as a private practioner or in government as assistant professor.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st year 25000 2nd year 25000 3rd year 25000 Final year 25000 Internship 6000 You don't need to pay anything extra apart from the money return above you just need to pay for monthly mess which is around 3-3.5k. You also get rupees 30000 during your one year of internship as stipend.
Campus Life :
The campus of Banaras Hindu University is a very beautiful one filled with trees, grounds basketball courts and a swimming pool if you wish to learn swimming. You can also join dance painting music courses in the faculty of arts in BHU if you wish to. We celebrate our annual fest "elixir" Hindi month of October which brings about a lot of fun with it.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are renovated with all necessary facilities like geyser water filter and cctv cameras with 24×7 Guard. The hostel mess is good but you will be bored after a year you will be allotted your hostel in the first year itself and you will have to change it every year. Since every student gets allotted a hostel you don't need to look for PG.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
