Likes
- I like the sports section very much, the grounds are clean and grassy, availability of every sports material. The infrastructure is also very good and standard. Faculties are very helpful and try to explain any topic in the most easiest way. College life is going very well by far, also made a lot of new friends
- There are available services every time like ambulance, good quality first-aid, large parking lot for the vehicles, two large auditoriums (one in open and another inside the building).
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure is not very big enough, there is no cricket ground and only one volleyball court. Few faculties are very strict and rude and not free and friendly enough.
- There are so many formalities to depart the college in need. The office staffs are not very interactive and delay the work.
Remarks :
The college is very well renowned throughout the state of Tripura and it claims it self one of the best of the state. Good infrastructure, adequate qualified quality faculties, cleanliness, quality education, discipline are some of the factors that attracted me and my parents towards this college. The bad aspect (as for me) are - the department puts a lot of pressure and workload on the students which should be reduced (as far my opinion), the office staffs are not very interactive when required. For the admission procedure, one have to fill the form online and after selection they will be called out for councelling along with parents, where the principal himself converses with the students and their parents. Regular class tests are taken by the departments after completion of a unit to mark the progress of the students and at the end, semester exam is taken by the Tripura University in the end of the semester
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Economics as my major subject because I find it as the most interesting subject. I also have other subjects in my course like - political science (minor), mathematics (interdisciplinary), desktop publishing(VOC) and NSS(VAC). The faculties are great instructors organized, responsive, patient and able to clearly explain complex topics, they are well qualified. The HOD of my department is an assistant professor who is currently pursuing a PhD degree in economics. To assist her in the college, there is another assistant professor who also takes our classes. The exams conducted by the department are a bit tough but conducted timely, but the final semester exam is taken by the Tripura University, upon which the date and time of the exams depends
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship yet, I am still in the 1st semester. But I am confident that we will also be provided by internships soon after our first semester exam and I will try to do my best
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities are provided by some renowned requiters and many offers are made. Students can register their interest for a job opening through their official email ID The placement cell will share details about the job opening with the student The placement cell will share the student's name and CV with the company. The student is responsible for keeping their resume updated with the placement cell. Some companies that visit the college for recruitment include PWC, Deloitte, Accenture, and IDFC Some top roles offered include accountants, finance management, and consultants. Students need to maintain at least 80% and 60% attendance to get good placements. The Highest salary was offered to a B.Ed. student in 2022 was 9 LPA by ICICI Bank. The average package provided is 4 LPA. Around 50% of graduate students are placed. My plan after getting a degree is to serve the country by providing civil services
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As of the 2024-25 academic session, the fee structures of different courses are: 1. BA(hons)-2500/month(tuition fees) 2. B.sc(hons)-3500/month (tuition fees) 3. BA(gen)-2200/month (tuition fees) 4. B.sc(gen) - 3200/month (tuition fees) 5. B.Com - 2500/month (tuition fees) 6. BBA - 3200/month (tuition fees). Additionally, rs 12000 needs to be paid after the end of every semester (known as the semester installment) which is equal for every course. There are also fees to be paid during admission, summing up to rs 29000/-, which includes Admission fee, Establishment fee, Graduation Fee, Alumni fee and Caution Deposit (Refundable). There is no increment in the fee structure throughout 3-4 years. My yearly course fee sums up to rs 54000/- which includes tuition fees and semester installment. For completion of my course, I have to pay a total amount of rs 2,16,000/-.The college informs about different scholarship schemes including state scholarship as well as national scholarship schemes
Campus Life :
The college regular conducts programs based upon many special occasions or major days, appreciating all the traditional and cultural festivals of all religions and cultures. Recently the college held it's 13th graduation day, praising and honouring the graduates of this year with a warm celebration. Few months earlier, a freshers' day program was also held by the college welcoming the new batch with a grand celebration. There are 2 libraries of the college containing lots of books of various types and also many computers for users. The classrooms are full of amenities including projectors high quality computer monitors, high quality comfortable seats, air conditioner, etc. The college also encourages sports very much, there are regular sports period every week, and every year the college organises an annual sports day named TAJES. This year the college organised the 12th TEJAS event. There are some social groups and clubs run by the students which includes music, dance, sports, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too
GREAT COLLEGE WITH GREAT PLACEMENTS
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.

Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.

Internship is not so good but the placement here is very much satisfying It is worth joining this college if your are looking for placement even in low range jee main score around 91 to 98 You get to improve yourself with the help of seniors and friends
