- The infrastructure and the self study opportunities that you get here. The library facilities are awesome and help you immensely in your self study.
- The campus life is although not very happening but still peaceful. As it is apart from the city so you get a lot of peace there in the nature.
Dislikes
- The faculty could have been a bit better and the classes could have been a little more planned.
- The campus life is although peaceful but sometimes makes you feel bored because no happening fests are conducted like those in DU.
Remarks :
I wanted admission in law but didn't had enough preparation to clear CLAT which is a national level exam for admission in NLUs. Morover, I don't have much interest in entering in the advocacy field. My plan is to enter in the judicial services which requires preparation from your own side, that is why my best choice was this as it was affordable as well for me. There was a written entrance test that I had to go through. The applications for the test usually open around may and the exam is conducted around the end of June. The exam is quite easy and one can easily qualify it with basic legal knowledge and decent reasoning skills.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since it's a dual degree course you have to study both BA and LLB sublects. BA subjects include history, economics, hindi, political science, sociology etc. LLB subjects includes obviously all the law subjects like tort, contract, constitution, law of crimes, evidence etc. The course subjects have a moderate difficulty level. Anyone can pass it easily with even 1 month of study before the exams and just solving PYQs. You have to do your own extra effort for whatever goal you want to achieve, the university faculty may help a little but the efforts have to be from your side. The faculty is not the best class but is again fine for what you can get at this level. Classes are conducted which is actually better from some low ranked NLUs where classes are not held regularly. There are also some excellent faculty members who have great knowledge and teach really well. The qualifications of faculty is obviously a Phd degree as it is a govt. university.
Internships Opportunities :
no, I have not availed any internships from the college for my course. But several students who want to enter advocacy indulge in internships by applying it themselves to the concerned senior advocates. But that you have to do by yourself, college has no role to play in that. The department although prepares you for your field by conducting moot court competitions to help you understand the scenarios of a court room.
Placement Experience :
The campus doesn't provide any placement to my course. I have plans of appearing for government exams specifically for the judiciary exam that different states conduct. If I clear that then an average salary of 80k can be expected.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Annual fees = around 6000(+/-1000) Generally it is 6000 but can vary by an amount of 1000 sometimes that doesn't make a huge difference. Depends on the rules. Apart from that 770 has to be paid as examination fees for the odd semesters only. Total: 6000 (approx) * 5 = 30,000 (total fees) 770 *5 = 3850 (exam fees for odd semester only) 30,000 + 3850 = 33,850
Campus Life :
Life at campus is okay-ish. There are fests conducted but they are not very happening. They are usually cultural events. Youth fest that happens in February is the largest fest in which colleges from all over North india participate. The library and reading rooms are very well developed. In fact the infrastructure all over is excellent. There is a 24/7 open reading room for boys (girls are allowed till 8 PM only) but that is okayy because it is open for rest of the day. The book collection is excellent and the library is fully air conditioned that makes it the best place to be in summers. Even law department has its own library apart from the university library. Sports: There are facilities available for sports as well. Badminton, tennis courts, swimming pool, cricket ground, sports ground but i do not have much idea about the exact details. There is a sports department as well so yes all kinds of sport facilities are available.
Hostel Facilities :
yes I live in hostel. Anyone living 30 km (for girls) away from the university can apply for the hostel facility. For boys the distance is 50 km. Apply: Once you are admitted in any course that the university offers you can apply for the hostel facility. You are updated about the same from university only. Elsewise, you can apply from the university website for it. The food quality in hostel is average. The hostel fees is also minimal. It is around 13,000 for the whole year from which 4000 is refundable as it is security deposit. Apart from that you have to submit mess fees monthly that ranges from anywhere around 2 to 2.5k depending on your hostel and the no. of days you live in hostel. The cleanliness in hostel is also decent and is actually what you will find in any hostel.

KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
