Likes
- As I told above that the college is top in the kanpur City to complete your graduation and post graduation degree. The campus is also good and very large to explore and also keep environment green so that every child gets good air .
- The communication skills of each faculty is very good. The qualification of each faculty is very high and from the top and best college and university of India.
Dislikes
- The place where college is situated is not so good . The Students from kanpur City and places ahead have to cross a six lane highway to get into the college from the main gate which is dangerous but the college also find a way for this .The college management place guards at the each side of highway road so that the students can pass the highway easily and with full of safety.
- No other excuses and dislike for my college.
Remarks :
It is top 2nd college in kanpur City after the PSIT college. The fees of this college is less as compared to top colleges of kanpur. Many students from different cities come every year and take admission in their favourite courses and complete their graduation degree and those who want to complete their post graduation degree, they also do from this college. During your addmission if you score good marks in intermediate then you also get discount in your academic fees . If you are a good student and have strong basic knowledge then you crack the interview that held during the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I Choose b.tech in aiml because as we all know that upcoming time is full of artificial intelligence and all things are based on machine learning. So that's why I choose this course which help me to become a good software engineer. Qualification of faculty is also good . Every faculty is post graduate from the famous and top most college and university of India. Communication skills of each faculty is so good and enchance students to work on their skills The level of exams are high . If you attend the classes regularly and learn everything in the class then you can handle the exam. And get good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
No , I was not opted for any internship yet . Because I was a first year now . But if I studied hard and keep hard work then at the time of intership, I would definitely get intership at a good company and get good amount of stipend as well . I talked with senior about the intership program then I would come to know that college helps in your intership as well if you are a good student and have a good qualification.
Placement Experience :
Skill development cell focuses on up graduation of skill to international standards through significant industry involvement and to develop necessary framework and standards for training of our students. PCRC( Placement and corporate relation cell) is entrusted with highly crucial task of selecting, inviting and following up with several corporate with whom KIT , kanpur explores 100% placement. The highest package is 10 lpa and the average package is 3 lpa in year 2024. A lot of companies had visited KIT such as whisper, havells,BHEL,
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Institute fees is annual and to be paid in two equal installments i.e. First installment by 30 th June and second installment by 31st December every year irrespective of commencement of semester /annual exam. The other terms and conditions of addmission are given in addmission form. AKTU exam fees is separated from the academic fees , exam fees will be 7500 each year . Pre enrollment fees is compulsory at one time during 1st year that would be 1000 -2300 . Scholarship also available for sc , st and OBC students. For general students scholarship, students must have given IIT mains exams . If you come from central level engineering exam like IIT mains then your course fees will be under 50,000 per year .
Campus Life :
Fresher's party in November -december happened Every year for welcoming the new students . A party happened in March name as Enginious (a five days party) in which students night , celebrity night and sports tournament also happened for the students. Volleyball, basketball, cricket and many tournament happened throughout the year for the students to participate in that and win prizes, medals and certificate as well. Lots of books present in KIT Library where you can find and book of your course that helped in your academic. Also there are books present for the preparation of UPSC and GATE examination, you can also prepare for the national level type of examination.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility is also good . Each room of the hostel have two students of different or same branch. There are two boys hostel and one girls hostel in the campus. There is also a mess and a canteen . The food of mess is good and very healthy.You child is in good hand if you admission your child in this college. Every Sunday is a special menu for the students to feel like a home inside the campus . A familiar environment is present inside the hostel. Every student feels uncomfortable in starting but within a month he will be familiar to campus and his fellow friends and get comfortable with each other.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
