Review about iimt group of colleges ( college of science and technology)
Likes
- I like about college's infrastructure that it's color, it's environment. Sometimes the college is really calm and provides peace to mind .
- For faculty they are supportive , if something is bothering you, you can tell that to your mentor they will help you .
- Campus Life is also quite decent , the crowd here is mostly local and bihar .
Dislikes
- There is no such sitting area in campus .
- Sometimes there are some faculty who even doesn't know how to speak with students.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college was that it has great infrastructure and attractive buildings.and also it has less fee comparatively to other colleges in this area . But there are some other colleges too that are better than this college but if you want to life your college life and study too side by side ..than you can opt for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are many events held for computer science students like tech hathon and many more . But there are some programs held for whole college which are quite nice . Exams are twice a year which are semester exams and other than that we have sessional. Exams twice a semester. Faculty also is quite supportive to students and counsell too for students better future.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted for internship but due to college restrictions because of my second year I was not able to continue it . No, college doesn't provide any internships before 3rd year and mostly they provide jobs .for internships you have to go and search it by yourself.
Placement Experience :
Placement drive come for third year students. And there is no job and internship allowed for BSc ( cs) and btech courses otherwise your can take NOC (leave for job or internship which college provides) and can continue to do internship.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise fee:- 50000/- ( this is yearly fee which you can submit in two installments. Scholarship is provided by college after filling some forms and giving it to registrar office and also by scoring good marks or being second and first in class can get you scholarship of worth 10000/-
Campus Life :
Currently a program was held for continuous 2 days for students from iimt and other colleges and it's name was ELECTRO-WAVE. It has dance competition, badminton, volleyball, cricket and many more. There 3 canteens in this campus which provides good and tasty food.
Hostel Facilities :
Yea I have opted for hostel and the food here is only acceptable. I have too order from outside when the food is bad ... Otherwise hostels are quite nice .. facilities are slow but they provide mostly every facility.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
