IIMT Group of Colleges Admission Dates 2026

IIMT Greater Noida is taking admissions for the 2026-27 academic year in all major streams. UPTAC is the route for B.Tech state quota counselling, while direct admissions are open for several programmes through September 2026.

IIMT Group of Colleges Courses and Fees

IIMT Greater Noida offers courses in engineering, management, pharmacy, law, commerce, media and computer applications through its eight colleges. The fees listed below are annual fees for the 2026-27 academic session.

B.Tech students can choose from CSE, CSE with AI, CSE with Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, AI and Data Science, IT, Civil, Mechanical, ECE, and Space Science and Engineering. MBA is offered as a general programme and with Business Analytics. M.Tech is offered in Civil Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering at INR 60,000 per year.

IIMT Group of Colleges Admission Process

The admission route at IIMT depends on the course and seat type. B.Tech state quota seats are filled through UPTAC counselling. Several management, commerce and allied courses follow direct admission. For law courses, CCS University rules require UP domicile.

B.Tech Admission

IIMT College of Engineering admits B.Tech students through two channels. UPTAC allots 85% state quota seats on the basis of JEE Main or CUET UG rank. The remaining 15% management quota seats are filled directly by IIMT using Class 12 PCM marks and JEE Main score. Students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, with at least 50% marks. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum is 40%.

• For the state quota, students register at uptac.admissions.nic.in and enter their JEE Main or CUET UG application number.
• They fill the UPTAC choice form by selecting IIMT College of Engineering and their preferred branch.
• They lock choices before the round deadline and complete document verification at the allotted centre.
• For the management quota, students apply at admission.iimtindia.net with their Class 12 marksheet and JEE Main scorecard.

B.Tech lateral entry into the second year is open for Diploma holders with 60% or more through UPTAC lateral counselling. In recent admission cycles, general-category closing ranks for CSE and IT at IIMT have usually been in the JEE Main Percentile 70 to 85 band.

MBA and MCA Admission

For MBA at IIMT College of Management, students need graduation with 50% marks and a valid CAT, CMAT, MAT or XAT score. Shortlisted students appear for a personal interview on campus. Final admission depends on entrance exam score, academic record and PI performance. MCA applicants need graduation with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level. Final-year students can apply provisionally.

B.Pharm and D.Pharm Admission

B.Pharm applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics in 10+2 and scored 50%. Admission follows AKTU and Pharmacy Council of India rules. D.Pharm has the same 10+2 subject eligibility as B.Pharm.

Commerce, Law and Other UG Programmes

BBA and BCA admissions are based on merit, and students need 45% in 10+2 from any stream. B.Com requires 10+2 in Commerce. BA LLB, B.Com LLB and LLB are affiliated with CCS University Meerut, and applicants must have UP state domicile. Law applicants must also meet the minimum aggregate set by the Bar Council of India and CCS University.

IIMT Group of Colleges Placements

The central placement cell at IIMT Greater Noida manages recruitment for all eight colleges. More than 1,050 companies have taken part in campus hiring over the years. In the 2025 placement season, the group placed more than 1,200 students. The highest offer was INR 1.80 CPA, made by Salesforce to a CSE specialisation student.

Average salary packages usually fall between INR 3 to 6 LPA, based on the branch and year. Computer Science and AI specialisations usually receive IT-sector offers toward the higher end of this range. Civil and Mechanical students mostly receive offers from manufacturing and infrastructure companies at INR 3 to 4 LPA.

IIMT College of Management receives MBA recruiters from BFSI, FMCG and consulting sectors. The placement cell begins aptitude training, soft skills preparation and mock interviews from the second semester.

IIMT Group of Colleges Rankings

IIMT College of Engineering takes part in national ranking frameworks and has accreditations from statutory bodies. Its main academic recognitions include NBA accreditation for CSE and ECE and participation in NIRF.

The NIRF Innovation category reviews institutions on innovation, patents and startup activity. IIMT was placed in the 151 to 300 band among participating technical institutions. The engineering college received NAAC accreditation in 2018 with 5-year validity, so students should confirm the current status directly with the institution.

IIMT Group of Colleges Scholarships

IIMT Greater Noida gives more than INR 3 crore every year through merit scholarships, government-linked scholarships and sports scholarships. Scholarships are given during admission and can be renewed based on yearly academic performance.

Board merit scholarships are applied automatically during admission after the student submits the Class 12 marksheet. Students must apply separately for government scholarships through the UP Scholarship Portal after admission. AKTU rank prizes are given after the academic year ends and results are declared.

IIMT Group of Colleges Campus and Infrastructure

IIMT’s main campus is in Knowledge Park III, Greater Noida, an education hub with several technical and management institutions. The group also runs a second campus in Meerut for selected programmes. Since the Greater Noida campus is in Delhi NCR, students get access to recruiters and industry exposure from the region.

The campus has eight colleges in engineering, management, pharmacy, law, polytechnic, and science and technology. It serves more than 8,000 students and has 65,000+ alumni working in the corporate sector. Facilities include branch-wise engineering labs, a central library, a computer centre and sports facilities. Across the institutes, faculty strength is 1,400+.

IIMT Group of Colleges vs GL Bajaj vs KIET

Students looking for private AKTU-affiliated colleges in Delhi NCR often compare IIMT Greater Noida with GL Bajaj Group of Institutions and KIET Group of Institutions. These three institutions serve a similar applicant group in the Greater Noida and Ghaziabad region.

IIMT has the widest course mix among the three because it covers six discipline families and operates from Knowledge Park III in Greater Noida. GL Bajaj is also based in Greater Noida, while KIET in Ghaziabad has an older engineering placement reputation in the Delhi NCR market. Students should compare branch-wise rankings, total yearly fees and recruiter overlap before choosing between these colleges.
