GL Bajaj Admission Dates 2027

For the 2026 session, B.Tech admissions used JEE Main 2026 and CUET UG 2026 scores, while MBA and MCA seats went through AKTU counselling. That cycle ended when UPTAC rounds closed in July 2026, and the new batch started classes in August 2026. The 2027 cycle is expected to run on a similar schedule. The tentative dates below depend on announcements from NTA and AKTU.

GL Bajaj Courses and Fees

Students at GL Bajaj can choose from engineering, management, law and computer applications. The B.Tech group alone has more than ten specialisations. Its total fees are among the lowest for NAAC A+ engineering colleges in the Greater Noida area.

CSE and the AI-based tracks have the most students of all B.Tech branches. Food Technology stands out because very few AICTE-approved food engineering courses exist in Greater Noida, and this is one of them.

GL Bajaj Admission Process

For most courses, seats are given through central counselling set by AKTU. Students first take the national entrance exam for their course. After that, they sign up on the UPTAC portal to take part in seat allotment.

B.Tech Admission

To join B.Tech, a student needs at least 45 percent in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM). The college accepts JEE Main, CUET UG and its own GL Bajaj admission test.

UPTAC data from 2026 shows the JEE Main cutoff at GL Bajaj was 60 to 80 percentile for CSE. It was 45 to 65 percentile for ECE and 35 to 55 percentile for Mechanical Engineering. General Category students needed scores near the top of each range.

MBA and MCA Admission

MBA applicants need a graduation degree with 50 percent or more, plus a valid CAT, MAT or CMAT score. Seats are given through AKTU MBA counselling. MBA Business Analytics uses the same steps and has the same fees.

For MCA, students need at least 50 percent in graduation, and Mathematics must be one of their subjects. They can take NIMCET or join AKTU's central MCA counselling. Under UGC guidelines, the MCA now lasts 2 years instead of the older 3-year format.

M.Tech (CSE) Admission

A valid GATE score in CS or IT is the main basis for selection. Applicants also need a B.Tech or B.E. in Computer Science, IT or a similar field. Seats are allotted through AKTU M.Tech counselling. Students who qualify GATE can also get the AICTE Saksham stipend of INR 12,400 per month while they study.

Law Programme Admission (LLB, BA LLB, B.Com LLB)

BA LLB and B.Com LLB are 5-year integrated courses that need 45 percent in 10+2 from any stream. The 3-year LLB needs a graduation degree in any subject with 45 percent. Students get in through a CLAT score or direct selection on merit. The Bar Council of India has approved every law course here.

GL Bajaj Placements

The top offer in the 2024-25 placement season was INR 57 LPA, and the next highest was INR 42.52 LPA. NIRF 2025 data shows 853 UG students got placed, with a median salary of INR 4.50 LPA. For engineering graduates, the official placement rate was more than 88 percent.

More than 600 companies from technology, finance and manufacturing made offers. Well-known names among them were Cisco, JPMorgan Chase, Razorpay, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, Samsung R&D, IBM, TCS, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Meesho, MU Sigma, HDFC Bank and Bosch.

Year after year, the biggest offers go to students from CSE and AI/ML. MBA graduates have found jobs in analytics, operations and finance. Their offer details are shared through AKTU’s placement data portal.

GL Bajaj Rankings

In NIRF 2025, GL Bajaj is placed in the 151-200 band among engineering colleges in India. The institute has stayed in this same band every year since 2021.

For overall quality, the institute has a QS I-GAUGE Diamond Rating. It also has a Platinum rating for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. In 2021, ARIIA put it in the Excellent Band among private technical colleges in India for its innovation and incubation work.

GL Bajaj Scholarships

Scholarships at GL Bajaj are based on merit, gender and family income. The biggest one pays tuition fees for top-ranked students who join through UPTAC counselling.

Students apply for AICTE Pragati and Saksham on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) when each academic year begins. No separate form is needed for the merit waiver, since it is given at the time of admission.

GL Bajaj Campus and Infrastructure

The 10-acre campus is at Knowledge Park 3, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201306. This area is part of Greater Noida's bigger education and IT hub, and it is easy to reach from the metro and the Yamuna Expressway.

On campus, there are more than 50 specialised laboratories, seminar halls, faculty research centres, a 1,000-seat auditorium and a central library with an NPTEL local chapter. Computer labs stay open 24 hours for students. The institute also runs its own Innovation and Incubation Centre, which is recognised under ARIIA.

Boys and girls stay in separate hostel blocks on campus. Each block has furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, power backup at all hours, a clean mess and security day and night. The hostel costs INR 1.30 Lakhs a year. College buses run on main routes across Greater Noida, Noida and nearby parts of Delhi NCR. For sports, there is a gym along with outdoor grounds for cricket, football and basketball.

GL Bajaj vs NIET Greater Noida vs Galgotias College of Engineering

Students picking a private engineering college around Greater Noida often compare GL Bajaj with NIET (Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology) and Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology. All three are affiliated to AKTU and admit students with similar JEE Main scores.

For B.Tech, GL Bajaj has the lowest fees of the three. It also has a better NAAC grade (A+) and a higher reported top placement package than the other two. NIET and Galgotias College are in a better NIRF band, which means their NIRF Engineering scores are slightly higher. All three follow the same AKTU syllabus and draw students from a largely similar JEE Main percentile range.
