GLA University Admission Dates 2027

GLA University uses GLAET, or the GLA Entrance Test, for many of its admissions. It also accepts JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, and CUET-UG scores for eligible courses. The 2026 admission cycle is over, and the 2027 schedule is expected to follow a similar pattern.

GLA University Courses and Fees

GLA University Admission Process

GLA University mainly selects students through GLAET, which is an online Computer-Based Test with multiple-choice questions. The exam is conducted at more than 60 centres in India from February to July in each admission cycle. For some courses, students can also apply through accepted national-level exam scores.

Programme-wise eligibility and accepted exams:

CUET-UG score holders do not need to take GLAET. A valid CUET-UG scorecard is enough for direct shortlisting. B.Tech applicants attend a Personal Interview after the entrance stage. MBA applicants must complete both Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The application fee is INR 1,000 for all programmes, and the form is submitted online through the university portal.

GLA University Placements

The Placement and Training Cell at GLA University manages campus hiring with more than 550 companies. In 2025, students received over 3,000 job offers across departments, and the placement rate was in the range of 80 to 90 percent.

Microsoft was the key recruiter in 2025 and selected 37 students with packages up to INR 11.8 LPA. Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, and JK Tyres were also among the major recruiters. Most campus offers come from Engineering and CSE departments. Management students are usually hired by FMCG, banking, and consulting companies from the NCR and UP region.

Final-year students get placement training in aptitude, group discussion, and interview skills. Mock sessions begin in the pre-final year. Students also get industry mentorship and live project exposure through tie-ups with technology companies in the NCR corridor.

GLA University Rankings

GLA University appears in the NIRF rankings every year and was ranked in several categories in 2025.

Pharmacy is the university's best-ranked discipline, with a place among the top 50 pharmacy institutions in India. The university has steadily taken part in NIRF across four categories since its first submission. Its NAAC A+ accreditation also points to its performance in teaching, research, and infrastructure.

GLA University Scholarships

GLA University gives merit-based scholarships and fee waivers during admission. The qualifying score depends on the course. Students may be judged through Class 12 marks, JEE Main percentile, GATE or GPAT score, or graduation marks.

To continue the scholarship, students must keep a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 8.0 during the course. Students from Uttar Pradesh can also apply for the UP government's post-matric scholarship, merit-based scholarship, and minority scholarship schemes through the official UP Scholarship portal, where GLA University is listed as an approved institution.

GLA University Campus and Infrastructure

GLA University is located at Chaumuhan on the Delhi-Agra National Highway (NH-19). The campus is 17 km from Mathura and 75 km from Agra. Spread over 110 acres, it has academic blocks, research labs, hostel buildings, sports facilities, and commercial amenities within one campus.

The academic facilities include air-conditioned classrooms, departmental labs for Computer Science, Electronics, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Mechanical, and Civil streams, a central library with digital resources, conference halls, and seminar rooms. The university has 12 boys' hostel blocks and 4 girls' hostel blocks. Annual hostel fees range from INR 71,000 to INR 1,40,000 for boys and INR 71,000 to INR 1,18,000 for girls, depending on the room type. Mess facilities, a food court, and ATMs are also available.

For sports, the campus has a cricket ground, football and hockey grounds, basketball and volleyball courts, and an athletics track. Indoor options include table tennis, yoga, and a multi-purpose gymnasium. University buses connect the campus with Mathura city, Vrindavan, and nearby areas.

The Pharmacy and Biotechnology departments have research-grade laboratories and work on drug formulation and agricultural biotechnology research. The university also has an incubation cell and an entrepreneurship development centre for student startups.
