I got an AIR of 891 in CLAT 2021. I got GNLU through OBC quota as my first preference. I learnt about GNLU from seniors and friends to be a college of very good repute. To get into GNLU, only CLAT is required which is a written test and no other interviews of GDs are conducted.
We have 5 courses here in GNLU, i.e., BA, B.COM, BBA, BSC and BSW. BSW means Bachelor in Social Work and is not a common area of practice among Indian Lawyers. However, students still choose BSW as the faculties are good and good marks are given. Faculties for BA are average even though BA is the most sought after stream. We have 2 semesters in each year with end semester exams being conducted in April and October.
I am opted for various legal internships till now. My latest one was at Legacy Law Offices at Kalkaji, New Delhi. I was assigned various tasks such as drafting of plaints, researching on legal points, moot arguments with a Partner, etc. The firm provided a stipend of Rs. 5000.
Placements are not a hassle if you have good rank in the batch. Anyone from the batch can opt for placements. There is no special criteria. Law firms such as Khaitan, SAM, AZB visit regularly to recruit students. Highest package goes upto 20 lakhs and lowest can be as low as 12 lakhs. Sooner or later, most students who sit for placements get placed. My plans are for writing upsc so I am not worried about placements.
The fee structure at GNLU comprises components such as annual tuition fees (Rs. 1,20,000), hostel fees(Rs. 24,000), mess fees(Rs. 42,000), infrastructure maintenance fees (Rs. 28,000), examination fees (Rs. 6,000), Extra curricular fees (Rs. 3000) and academic facilities fees (Rs. 18,000). In terms of financial aid to students from marginalized communities, GNLU has a legal aid cell which provides financial assistance. We have NRI quota in GNLU and annual fees for them is whooping Rs. 12,00,000. Aditya Birla Scholarship is provided to 2 students of high ranks in CLAT.
Life at campus is fun. There is no dearth of extra curricular activities ranging from sports to music, dance and theatre. GNLU is the only NLU to have NCC. There is a website called Jury's Out run by the students which talks about issues from all walks of life. Library is one of the best places at GNLU. The environment is calm with lots and lots of books available.
Hostels are mandatory for students. I mean paying the annual hostel fees is mandatory nevertheless you can live outside the campus too. Hostels are in a good condition overall but the administration takes time in case you have some problem. Girls hostel has both single and double occupancy rooms whereas boys hostel only has double and triple occupancy. GNLU has only one mess which is common for both boys and girls. Food is overall satisfactory with lots of varities such as chole bhature, idli vada, momos, fruits, dhokla, etc.
The placements for M. Pharmacy is 90% lj ip is the best college in the Ahmedabad for pharmacy, commerce, class room etc the placements is too good in lok jagruti institute of pharmacy the placements for commerce is also good
They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course
Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.
No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.
Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.
Good placements after masters and bachelor’s the support is full from the institution and the companies come to collage and interview us and the placement are 90% and above with the good package expecting
All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.
Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.
I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
