- There's nothing to be hated about or disliked to be honest, right from campus till academics everything was smooth and satisfactory
- Yes, even faculty , mess food and transportation facilities were satisfactory and felt worth of fees.
Remarks :
As i mentioned , it's really a good college at affordable fee rate .So, without thinking with our eyes closed , this can be our recommendations. Now, talking about the the entry into the college, back then there was no admission or entrance examination held. The ways through which we can enter was through either Management Quota or Recommendation through known ones. The would consider our 10th and 12th examination results if it's through a direct admission, the cut off is 90% for OC and 65% for reserved candidates. Thus, admission is decided.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum and academic structure for my course i.e Bsc. Computer Science was designed so perfectly catering to requirements of the industry and placements. The programming languages and core subjects all were properly planned and explained. The faculty were really clear in their teaching aspects and friendly.
Internships Opportunities :
I did not in particular applied for any internship since after my Bsc. Degree at AMC , I was placed at an IT company at Chennai. Thanks to the academics, faculty and management. The curriculum was the major help, it was designed so perfectly to match the company and industry needs and here I am still working at Chennai that too in my domain.
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities are really good, we can trust the curriculum entirely and also we too must put in efforts. We have to utilize the given and provided opportunities really well to gain utmost benefit out of this, lovely college. The highest package received was 7LPA and average is 4LPA to 4.3LPA which is really good for a UG graduate. Most of the students are placed at AMC , the perecentage during my year was 96.5%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The entire fee structure for the year was 50000 INR and yes scholarship also was available based on your category variations and merit scholarship was available too. The waive off was upto 20,000 INR . The financial aid was available to students from socially poor students , in these aspects The American is really good. To talk about whether the fees is increasing or not , the answer is a big NO , till now fees and quality remains the same.
Campus Life :
The most important and indelible memories from The American college is the campus. Its constructed similar to old vintage structures, since its built during the British era. The sports and extracurriculars were paid equal attention as academics. The social events and fests were another joy. Most serene one was chapel and the choir , can't forget it.
Hostel Facilities :
No doubt along with campus quality and all hostels too were remarkably maintained and the food quality was satisfactory. Those were good memorable days back then. The registration fees for hostel was 35000INR back then ,and yes it was worth of the fees. The registration process for hostel accomodation was done online while admission was verified.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
