Remarks :
Admission process is merit based and really easy. You don't have to give any entrance exam. There are only 50 seats in this course and the course fees is also very affordable. The faculty is very helpful
Course Curriculum Overview :
The syllabus of the course is satisfactory and reliable. You will learn some practical knowledge that you can use in field. The faculty is helpful and kind. Teachers are well qualified and provide great knowledge.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is mandatory for this course but you've to find it by yourself. Teachers issue the letter at the end of May and you've to complete one month internship. Offline internship is better than online ones.
Placement Experience :
There are no placement opportunities for diploma students. Placements are only for regular course students. Placements are provided in the last semester of the course. The placement cell is also very active.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees of the course is 28,400 only. There's no relaxation in fees as per the category. The registration fees is rs. 300. There's no exam fees and lab fees. Scholarship is also provided by university.
Campus Life :
There are some events and fests in the college. There's also Fresher's Party for 1st year students of all courses. Vividhotsava is one of the most important event in college. There are also clubs fo regular course students.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hostel as I live in kanpur but some of my friends opted for hostel. According to them hostel is in good condition and food is also tasty and good. Food quality is also great and nice.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
