Remarks :
To join BTech course in our college you have to clear JEE Mains with a decent rank.. For Un-Reserved category the cutoff for the CSE branch is approx CRL 50k rank. The selection is done via UPSEE councling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic environment of our college is too good. The teacher are well educated (PhD holders) and very supportive.. You have to maintain the 75% attendance criteria. Each department have good classrooms with A.C.
Internships Opportunities :
The college doesn't provide any internship. You have to hustle yourself for the internship.. But at any point if you need any guidance for that, the professors are always present to resolve your problem
Placement Experience :
The placement cell is good. Many companies like TCS, Wipro,Infosys, Cisco, Tech Mahindra, BHEL India, IITiam etc comes for hiring with a handsome salary package. The highest package is around 16LPA and the lowest is around 4LpA. There is a good environment for the Gate and ESE exam also.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Other than IT branch Tuition fees is 40,000 for IT branch it will be 55000 and if you take hostel then it will be approx 67850 per year and a caution money of 6000 that will get back to you at the end of the degree. The mess fees is 20,000 per semester and a caution money of 5000 in first year that will get back to you after the completion of degree.
Campus Life :
The environment of KNIT Sultanpur is very attractive. There is a huge sport ground. Each and every sport have their seperate courts.. The college oraganise a cultural fest name "Anubhuti" every year which is one of the most attractive fest in U.P. many colleges comes and actively participate. TVARAN is sport fest in our college that is organised in feb-march in every year .. It's also a huge and attractive fest.
Hostel Facilities :
For boys First year have 2 HOstels with sharing rooms of 2-3 students. Second year have 3 Buildings with a sharing of 3 students per room. Same for the Third year. In Final year there are 3 hostels Ramanujan, Aryabhatta with single room per student and Khosla Hostel with sharing of 2 person per room. For girls there are 2 Hostels with a good security. If you want to join hostel then you can simply apply for it at the time of joining in First year. The mess is too good with a clean and hygiene food. There are a lots of PGs out there you can also go for it.. But the hostel experience is another next level.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
