- The greenery, seperately assigned departments for each subject, punctual teachers , fresher friendly campus,
- Ragging problem is considered seriously
Dislikes
- Sometimes 2 different subject class is aligned just after the other ,which makes it a little problem to travel from one department to another
- No air conditioners ,so it feels a little too hot in classes during summers
Remarks :
It is a state university, very pocket friendly and there are regular co-curricular activities of every manner ,it has 2 campuses and are vast .An entrance exam is conducted and approximately top 5-10% students are only selected for admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose bsc because I was of science background and I am planning to pursue my science studies further till phd .exams are conducted on a regular basis ,every 6 months ,tests are conducted by the respective assigned professor.and they are moderate level difficult.one should study good to pass the exams
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is not the normal way, for me it was a 100 marks paper under which I have to study a particular topic under the supervision of a designated teacher and 2 month internship is been conducted, then a 100 page project / analysis paper is submitted and a viva is conducted by teachers of MSC /PHD .
Placement Experience :
After completing my course BSC mathematics,one may continue to study MSC and PHD .many professors are passout of lucknow university and they have a salary of nearly 2lakhs per month .my personal job option is civil services,after completing my graduation degree i will start attempting for upsc ,for which I have already been into coaching for 2 years
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee is taken semester wise,but it is not constant it may vary from 4000-13000 per semester,making an approx total of 16-17000 per year .yes there is scholarship for students eligible for EWS but to avail that a student may have atleast 75% of his attendance which is to be certified by his/her respective faculty dean office
Campus Life :
As mentioned Lucknow University has a very vast campus ,each subject has a seperate faculty and a dedicated building in which only those subject 's classes are conducted,it is very spacious.the greenery,plants are maintained regularly, each road is surrounded by plants making the all over experience beautiful. Sports club, debate club etc are present and each student is free to join it .
Hostel Facilities :
My friends have opted for hostel and i visit regularly.it is clean and they are very punctual for food timings , taste is moderate not too good but one can live a normal life ,each hostel has a seperate playground and a garden ,. Each hostel has nearly 2-3 floors .and 1 room is assigned to 2 students.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
