My experiences about The ICFAI University Tripura
Likes
- I like my college infrastructure very much, there are labs, library, etc. The faculties are also very good and knowledgeble. The campus life in my opinion is very great and enjoying.
- I also like the amenities they provide us like free internet, bus service, good mess food, a library full of books, and smart screens in class, proper CCTV throughout the campus for our security and safety.
Dislikes
- I don't like the pressure the put on us, like it feels like we get less time to prepare for our exams and study or self development.
- Some faculties are rude and not good, they are knowledgable enough but they are not helpful, instead their attitude and rudeness are very disappointing.
Remarks :
I prepare for JEE Mains NEET and different types of competative exams and also gave the all exam but its my badluck, i did not crack any one of them, after that i attend TBJEE and have a good result in this examination. According to the suggession of TBJEE they provide me to choose ICFAI University, thats why i take admission in ICFAI University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
After admission in this University we learned about C, C++, python, java, and many other activities like Working, Networking, Cloud computing, and to develop our communication skills to each other. In the other hands our faculties are having good knowledge about there subjects. They are qualified in more reputed institute like IIT, NIT, etc. In every week they take class tests to improve our knowledge and get a good a good marks in our exams.
Internships Opportunities :
I have previously opted for internship at NIELIT Agartala college for Android Development using Java or Kotlin. It was a 3 months internship and was unpaid. At the end of internship, we had to give an exam of 200 marks, out of which 70% marks goes to college and 30% is dependent on our project report.
Placement Experience :
For campus placements some companies comes every year, mainly for business and technical jobs. Though the IT jobs are lesser than sales ones, but atleast companies comes. With average package of 2-3 LPA, those who sit for placements, most of them gets the jobs. For internships, we have summer internships, our college assigns us the internships in different companies or government organisations like NIC, NIELIT, DIT, etc. I plan to go for Technical Jobs after my completion of degree, if not on campus then off campus. And, If I fail to get job, then I will continue for M.Tech degree in some college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During the admission i paid 20000 for an admission fees. In my course i paid 50000 per semester, that means 100000 per year. I paid 10000 for caution fees, and while admission i also paid 500 Rs. for admission form. We also have merit based scholarship in which we get 50% discount for 9+ CGPA and 25% discount for 805+ CGPA in semester fees. There are also Government scholatships for up to 85000 per year based on the cast.
Campus Life :
Our college experience is very great. We have many amenities like Badminton court, Basketball court, Football ground, Food stalls, Free internet, Park, Open Gym, etc. We also have cooding clubs, Robotics clubs, Entrepreneurship club, Startup and Incubation centre. We also have different cultural and technical fests like ICARIA, NOVATOS, ICTHALON, Technovate ,etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too
GREAT COLLEGE WITH GREAT PLACEMENTS
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.
Undiscovered NIT - NIT Agartala
Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.
Must Go through it then apply.
Placement Experience :
Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now
Facts of NIT AGARTALA

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.

Internship is not so good but the placement here is very much satisfying It is worth joining this college if your are looking for placement even in low range jee main score around 91 to 98 You get to improve yourself with the help of seniors and friends
