- So basically, what I like about my college is that it have a great faculty and whenever you stuck in any situation in academics, the faculty members are always there to help you and to get rid of your problem. You can ask any doubt from any faculty members, even if they do not teach you, they'll give you the solution of the problem for the doubt that you have asked. My college also provides a great enthusiasm of learning new things and with writing that of new things I must say practically showing everything and visualising it. The faculty members take most of the classes in the computer labs, so you don't have to worry about the problems that you might face because you'll get to hands on experience on the thing that you are studying on.
- The infrastructure of the college is pretty basic and it provides a minimalistic approach, so you don't have to think that you are from any other state or any other region so you are treated differently. a student which is present in an NIET college is there to study an excel in the field which they are studying on. So if you're studying a computer science degree then you'll get a hands on experience on the computer science fundamentals without any problem.
Dislikes
- the thing that I dislike about my college is the campus life. It has a dead campus life because of the fact that you are going to study in a college where the most priority is being given to studies. Do not expect anything regarding Fest or enjoyment. You are there to study or like a job that you are going for from 9 to 5 and after that, coming to your Hostel or PG and study and after that, also because the teachers will give you homework that you have to do, they try to make their students the best version of themselves in study only.
- The second thing that I don't like about my college is that they provide hands on experience on everything like programming languages or development, but they give a very short period of time to study those fundamentals or to learn those fundamentals properly. They'll give you one month of Java development course, but in that, you have to come to the college for more than nine hours, and after that when you go home, you should do an assignment that is giving to you by your teacher and you have to show the teacher the next day. After that, the teacher will teach you another topic and give assignment which you have to give to the teacher, the next day, so very hectic for the students sometimes.
Remarks :
I have given jee and there after i got this college from councelling . I had 86.4 percent in 12th and 70 percentile in jee which add upto the selection criteria for NIET Computer Science branch . but now they have increased the jee percentile criteria i guess . The admission process was smooth and in just one visit i was in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i wanted to excel myself in computer science field and get a job in that field only. the qualification of teachers are pretty much M.Tech and many teachers are doing their mtech parallel with teaching. The term exams are basically semester exams which happens in every apprrox 6 months depending on the management decisions . The difficulty level of some are moderate and some subject need proper revision.
Internships Opportunities :
The college does not provides an internship opportunities is basically in the campus because of the curriculum. And if you have to opt for internship, you have to apply on different website offcampus and many companies come to college for job opportunities such as internship opportunities at First, and after that, they'll give you a placement offer, which is basically a preplacement offer.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements basically have different for different companies but if you want to sit in a placement drive then make sure you do not have any backlogs or you've cleared them before sitting in the placements and other factor is your percentage . so overall if you have more than 70 percent overall then you should have no problem in sitting in placement drive. visited recruter includes capgemini,l timindree ,accenture ,wipro ,jpmorgan etc. The highest package offered is around 48 lacs for 2025 batch and the average is around 4 lacs. the profiles includes software engineer , ase, analyst, senior analyst etc. Till now 70 percent are placed . My plan after getting a degree is to scale my skills in an MNC and increase my knowledge and leadrship qualities there.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees - 103100 Internal Exam fees - 4000 External Exam Fees - 7500 This is the overall fees which adds up to 114600 for btech it is now being increased but our batch all have same fees at this point btech fees is around 1,50,000 per year
Campus Life :
Niet do not have any great fests because of their shorter campus . Two - three fests happens such as JAGMAG , Sports day but the excitement of fest is never seen in any student because they are very boring . NIET have a library but only have study material books for your knowledge enhancement . I have never seen fictional books or even non-fictional books there. No extra curricular activities will be allowed if you are not a part of sports club . Many students just come to college , do their work like a 9-5 job and go back to hostel. social groups or clubs include music club,hid club,khushiyan baaton club , sports club etc .
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is moderate, sometimes good, sometimes bad and the Menu includes many dishes such as biryani, Chole and Dal chawal. The registration process for Hostel is basically done by the college management itself. You have to go to the Dean office, and you say that you have to work for Hostel, and he'll give you a form that you will fill up, and then you will opt for the Hostel and the affordability is somewhat okay, but sometimes the mess FOOD does not count on your Taste, so you have to buy from outside

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
