- Faculty are from top IIT colleges, had done their PHD and the special subject which is only and only being taught in this college is one railway subject like IRSC, SIGNALLING SYSTEM, one in every semester.
- campus life is very very good with a combination of clubs, fest and a group of friendly seniors with zero ragging policy.
Dislikes
- College is very very good , but the faculties are very strict about the rules and regulations of a government college, and even if there is a violation of a single rule there will be a disciplinary action on you.
- Indrastructure of college is good but the maintaining timing of the college of the palace, swimming pool are done in some 1 years but it should be done in every 6 to 7 months.
Remarks :
The first major factor for me was that this college was in my state itself, the second and the most important factor for a college student is that this is a government college which comes under the ministry of railways and this college is also in the GFTI category, which means that the government gives funds to this college, and this is the one and only railway college in the whole country. The only bad aspect for some of the student will be that , the college rules are very strict, you must have to follow those rules otherwise disciplinary action will be taken on you. To get admission in thsi college you have to give the jee mains exam , and according to your percentile , branches will be allot to you , and there is no any type of group discussion in this college before the admission. CUT OFF to get into this college is different for all category peoples, like one in general, obc, sc/st. FOR the jee mains exam you must be good in your 11th and 12th class studies.
Course Curriculum Overview :
so i choose civil branch , only reason is that i have some interest in this branch , and my jee mains percentile was good and enough to get into this branch , so i choose thsi branch. All the faculties in this college are from IIT college, and all have done thier PHD from any one of the IIT/NIT or from some foreign college. So one semester is for 4 months, so the mid semester exams are held in 2nd month and the end semester in the 4th month of the semester. Class tests timing depends on the faculty. Difficulty level depends on the factor that how much you have studied for your exam , students who start to study one night before the exam will always say that the difficulty level was very high, but if you study at least in the class with full focus then you will definitely say that the exam difficulty level was medium.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship in my college are given by the college itself, you dont have any reason for finding any internship by yourself , since the internship given by the college is in some big railway place which is much more than any small internships. some of the places where you can get your internships are:- DFCCIL, BANARAS LOCOMOTIVE WORKS , VARANASI AIRPORT, DMRC, PUNE RAILWAY WORKS, AND many more.
Placement Experience :
Placement stats are decided on sone factors such as:-percentages of students placed, average and highest salary, no. of comapanies that are visited, no. of the offer made. highest salary that goes in my college is 12 lakhs per annum and the percentage of students are 88% that got the palcement in high MNC comapnies , rest of the students got palcements in start ups, small companies as well. average pacakage is around 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. My plans after getting my degree is to get in admission in IIT for my MTECH.

Campus Life :
Campus social life is often a vibrant mix of academic and activities. social events, dorm life, and informal gathering contributed to a sense community. University typically provide students with opportunities with various interest, including academiscs, cultural, social, and recreational pursuits. some of the club names are:- ACADEMIC CLUB,CULTURAL CLUB, EPITOME, ANNUAL SPORT FESTIVAL, FAREWELL CLUB. Under the infrastructure category , one can count, classroom with multimedia facilities, libraries, laboratories for scientific research, sport complex, wifi access. IN the library there is a vast collection of books, journals,and periodicals, digital databases, online resources.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality in the mess is amazing and is also approved by government officials,and there are different options of food everyday in the week. No food is repeated twice in the week except for chapati and rice . The registration proces in the mess is included in the admission process , all the process is done in one go. The hostel is for all the btech students, and there there are 3 hostels for students, one for btech, one for mba, one for bba course students. there are seperate hostels for boys and girls.

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.
