- Supportive faculty : The faculty members are highly qualified and approachable. They are not only teach but also guide us for the career opportunities, projects and even for competitive exams.
- Campus Events:The campus life is really engaging. Various clubs actively organize events and workshops. Annual fests and techinal symposiums give us a platform to showcase our talent.
Dislikes
- While CS and IT students get better placement support, students from other branches like civil, mechanical or Electrical often struggle to find campus placement opportunities.
- Although some labs are well maintained , a few still have outdated equipments or resources.
Remarks :
The college has a good track record in engineering education with experience faculty and a decent placement history. Compared to many other colleges , the fees is way more reasonable , especially with the availability of scholarships. The campus is easily accessible and located in a safe and student friendly area. For admission there are many ways to get in like JEE,CAT and direct admission. I went through the direct admission which is merit based. The minimum percentage should be 60% to get admission in the PG courses.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My primary motive for enrolling in this course was to gain in depth knowledge and practical skills that align with my career goals. I also found the curriculum is up to date as per the industry standards. The faculty members of my course are well qualified and experienced in their respective fields. Most of them have done their masters and some has also done Ph.D. They have completed their education from reputed institutions. They have also publised the research papers in national journals. There will be CAEs in every semester to check the performance of students. Viva and assignments are also given by teachers.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I have opted for an internship during my course to gain hands-on experience. The company name is Codsoft and the position is java developer. It's a virtual internship which is of 2 months. They give to the task and we need to complete the tasks till the deadline given.
Placement Experience :
Yes, GCET has a dedicated active placement cell. They organise campus recruitment for a various companies. Prepare students for interviews through mock interviews, aptitude tests, and resume building sessions. The eligibility criteria for the companies is 60% should be in the current program and there should be no backlogs. Some reputed companies also visited our college for drives like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys etc. The average package is between 4LPA to 8LPA and the highest is 24 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pursued MCA from Galgotias college of engineering and technology. The fees of my course is around Rs. 120000/- per year. The registration fee is Rs. 25000/- at the time of admission and there is an additional charge for identity card which is Rs. 1000/- . The College also provides various scholarships to OBC/SC/ST, PWD and low income families.
Campus Life :
The college has several clubs and societies like cultural clubs , tech clubs , NSS units etc. They also organise several annual fests and special events for the students such as fresher's party and farewell party. They also have a central library with thousands of books , journals , magazines and digital resources .The college also have modern labs with updated software.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, the college offers hostel facilities for both girls and boys . The hostels have single ,double and triple sharing rooms. The fees is also affordable. I don't have much idea about the hostel rules timings and other things because i am not staying at the hostel.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
