Honest Review of IIIT Sonepat

- I like the faculty and friends that i make in the college.
Dislikes
- I don't like the college infrastructure . I mean my college have not its permanent campus till now.
Remarks :
For the admission i cleared the JEE Mains entrance exam and then in CSAB councelling i got the IIIT Sonepat. Basically this college is at a very esteemed location near IT hub Delhi,Noida & Gurgaon and also it it a IIIT college that's why i choosed it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are PHD holders and many of our professors have completed their PHDs from IIT colleges. Also all faculties are very supportive and they also solve our doubts regarding academic or non-academic even outside of the class . There will two exams held mid term and end term in each semester. And there are two semester in each year.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently i have not any internship but many of my seniors from 3rd year has done internship in Amazon, Microsoft etc. Many of my friends are also getting internship from other companies as front end developer or full stack developer.
Placement Experience :
The highest package in 2024 was 40 LPA and the average package was 15.9 LPA. Only 64.8% students got placed in on campus placement. Later many students got very good offer in off campus placement. Some recruiters are Accenture, Yamaha, Amazon etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay fees per year approx 2 lakh. In these fees hostel is not included. This fees is contains your tuition fee, examination fee etc. For the scholarship you can apply for the government & private scholarship . Almost all the students get scholarship from govt. There is no scholarship from the college side. They will help you in your govt or private scholarship.
Campus Life :
There is only one fest which is sports fest AGNITO in the month on March or April. For the books we can issue it directly from the library free of cost. Classes have ACs, smart board or projectors. Currently there are two clubs in active mode which are Photography Club & IMPACT club for social activities and events.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted the hostel in the 1st semester. I choosed SBIT hostel. In the sbit hostel the food quality is not so much good its below average. They will charge 75000 per semester but they will also charge electricity bill. If you use washing machine then you have to do payment. For the wifi facility you need to set up your own wifi.

The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.

Placement Experience :
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
CAMPUS LIFE
Placement Experience :
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
