- The infrastructure of the college is nice. It is hygienic, good.
- Faculty is amazing, knowledgeable and method of teaching is excellent.
Dislikes
- The campus is small which is the most significant disadvantage. There is no area for sports. Also there is no boys hostel
- The internships the college offer are not good and does not provide much opportunities.
Remarks :
Symbiosis International University has its own reputation for providing good education in various fields. The discipline, faculty and placement brought me to this college. To enter into this college you have to face three rounds. 1. SLAT ( Comprising of five sections- 60 marks and 60 questions with no negative marking) 2. If you qualify this test (list is released by the University in few days) then you are eligible for PIWAT round. 3. PIWAT: First is the WAT round where you are given two topics, out of which 1 is to be chosen and an essay is to be written in a time span of 30 minutes. This round is conducted in home proctored mode. Then in the Interview or PI round you face two panelists and they take your interview which lasts for around 10 minutes.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course particularly due mu arousing interest in this field. Talking about the faculty of the college, it is great. Though not much experienced but most of them are knowledgeable. The way in which they teach is inclusive and does not become monotonous for the students. Teachers basically use PPTs, perform activities, presentations to make it more enriching. Exams are conducted at the end of every semester. The difficulty is good and difficult if you haven't studied ( though a backlog is likely in this case). Also open book or tutorial exams are conducted in the middle of each semester to test the application based reasoning of students. Fee for 1 year is 4,00,000. There is policy of upto 10% fee hike each year.
Internships Opportunities :
Being in the first year I have interned in an NGO. My work was at ground level, to spread legal awareness, take data on various legal aspects in rural areas. Assist the team in legal research and drafting. Reading case laws, understanding them. This was an unpaid internship. The college gives you opportunity to use their placement cell to let them offer you an internship, which may be under an advocate, legal firm or any competent court. It is mandatory to intern after every semester.
Placement Experience :
Just around 60% of the students who chose to be placed were actually placed. For example, of the total number of students in the 2016–21 cohort, 64% were from the BBA LL.B. and 36% were from the B.A. LL.B. 19.26 Lacs was the highest package provided, and 2.40 Lacs was the lowest. Prominent hiring firms include Teach Mahindra, Khaitan, AZB Partners, and Ernest & Young. The primary positions available were trainee, legal consultant, associate in law, and consultant in research.
Campus Life :
The social life here is not as you expect to be in a college. This is due to campus being incredibly small. There is no area for sports. Theres a just tiny academic building. Also there is no boys hostel at the campus and girls hostel is of only 300 capacity. But you will find many events happening here which will keep you busy and socialize with your batchmates. The most iconic event of this college is Symfiesta which is conducted every year in the month of March for consecutively 3 days. There are many pre programs before this event too. Moreover, there are committees for everything like moot court, music, dance, publication, photography and many others in which any student can apply. There is a library where you will almost any legal book. Also you are provided premium access to many legal portals by the University.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
