Remarks :
I chose KR Mangalam University mainly because of its location and the availability of BTech Course, which is popular and in demand. The admission process was quite simple. Admission Process: 1. Admission was mainly based on 12th board marks. 2. There was a PI round for most of the students (not necessary but i gave it). 3. The cut off is also not very high. Overall, the process is easy and student-friendly. Honestly, there was no special preparation required for the admission into this college. The process was very quick and simple. Good aspects: Decent infrastructure and facilities. Easy admission process. Some supportive faculty members. Bad aspects: Placement opportunities are average, not for all students. Very crowded as the admission process is easy. Extra charges are taken for various activities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE from Kr Mangalam University. I chose this course because of my interest and the job demand in the industry. Course Curriculum: It covers imp subjects like: Programming(C++, Java, Python etc.) DSA DBMS OS CN However, I feel that: The curriculum is more theory based than practical and industry exposure could be improved. Students need to do self learning for advanced skills like web dev, AI etc. Faculty and Teaching method is also quite good all the faculty members are well qualified. Some teachers are very helpful. Exams difficulty level is moderate i dont consider it tough.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am currently pursuing BTech Cse from KR Mangalam University. The fee structure is like :- 1st year: Tuition Fees: 1,80,000 Rs approx Admission Fees: 25,000 Rs approx 2nd year: Tuition Fees: 1,90,000 rs approx 3rd year: Tuition Fees: 2,00,000 approx 4th year: Tuition Fees: 2,10,000 approx Other charges: 25,000 (maybe) Total fees: 8-9 lakhs Fees increase slightly every year (around 5-7%) The university also provides several support and scholarship options: 1. Merit Based Scholarship 2. Sports Scholarship 3. Government Scholarship 4. Education Loans Overall Fee Review by my side : The fee structure is relatively expensive, but the university provides good infrastructure, labs, and learning environment so the fees can be justified considering these facilities.
Campus Life :
Social Life and Campus Environment: The campus crowd is mixed. There are regular events, workshops, and small activities. Social life is good if you join clubs. Fests: The university organizes an annual cultural fest call "Edude Fiesta" usually in feb-march. Fest is decent but not on a very large scale only one fest was big when Parmish Verma(singer) came to that fest others were not very great for me.(My personal experience)
