- Great infrastructure overall been there many times comparing to other colleges AMITY Infrastructure is massive.
Dislikes
- The things I disliked is there is no option for one on one interaction with faculty and even if you have a doubt in something you have to raise tickets which takes very much time and with this much time consumption I choose to solve my queries from any other ed-tech platform.
- Their counselling team is very very careless they did not even bother to call you after taking admission and due to this students miss the portal basic feature and the major problem I faced was in my 1st semester my assignments were showed as failed in marksheet even I have submitted them due to failure of feedback form submission this all happened and i had to pay additional 500 per subject 2500 for 5 subjects for re-submission of assignments, Their proctor in exam is very bad even if you are not cheating in exam they may terminate you and the supplementary examination fees is 1000 per subjects if you are thinking to pursue be ready to get terminated in 3-4 exams in your total 3 years without any reason the cost of that examinations will be 3-4k roughly..
Remarks :
There is no eligibility criteria to get admission as such to get into Amity Online college they just asked at time of admission that you just need to have 60% minimum in class 12th tp get admission they didn't even asked for 12th marksheet and the process was quite simple.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course because as a commerce student I'm pursuing CFA along with my b.com and this is the only course that aligns with all my needs and I have chosen the distance learning because I have to attend the coaching of the CFA basically with a long way vision I saw that only b.com is not sufficient to build a good career I chosen CFA along with b.com my major focus has been there and completed CFA L1 in 2nd year of my b.com and if you are willing to make a good career in finance as a commerce student you have a great option to pursue B.com from Amity Online..Most preferable for CFA, CA , CS And FRM candidates or who are willing to give exams.
Internships Opportunities :
No, till now any internship opportunity has not been provided by the college. I did an internship on my own I was hunting for internships on online portals and got selected in a research coordinator in a private equity managing company and got to learn a lot of things but never expect internship opportunity from college as they don't provide or by the chance if they provide that will be a remote internship with 0 value.. No exposure of corporate life.
Placement Experience :
The major drawback in the campus placements is that Amity Regular has far better placement than Amity Online the companies are not much good and the packages offered are very less comparing it to regular one and if someone is solely depend on the Amity Online B.com degree and doesn't have much skills it is gonna be difficult as college placements only have BPO and basic accounting related jobs where no one can grow in their life and the packages are that much low with that you can't even survive in a metro city better to have a side hustle along with your degree or extra course like CA, CFA, CS and FRM leading courses even I'm also a CFA L2 candidate now with this you can have a great placement outside campus with a good package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for the complete B.com program is around 1-1.10L for 3 years, Per semester I'm paying around 14.5k approx and for a year it is around 30k approximately, This fees includes books and study material also which is delivered to your home, No extra charges are charged except the total semester fees, Yes SC, ST and OBC categories have fee concession but I have no idea about it much as I don't fall in reservation category. The only negative is their re-assignment and supplementary examination charges which are very difficult to understand in a single time and many students face assignment submission failure in 1st semester for which the fees is 500 per subject and for supplementary exam you have to pay 1000 per subject.
Campus Life :
About the campus life I don't know much as I'm a correspondence student here but yes the college invite distance learning students to college events, fests and sports programs, As a distance degree it is rare to see college inviting distance students mostly colleges don't but Amity does so its a Yes.. For social interaction between students of Amity Online they have a Be social app on which online degree students can interact with each other post photos share their achievements can have group discussions on the subjects and the online ecosystem is great although I have been to Noida campus it is a great infrastructure made library and classrooms are awesome.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for college as a distance learning student but I have visited hostel once with my friend who is a regular student there the hostel rooms are big enough in comparing it to other colleges hostel the rooms are big enough infrastructure does't feel old rooms are well lit and having facility of air conditioning. And as I heard about mess food it is also great.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
