Ab overall experience at Galgotias University
Remarks :
I choose Galgotias University because of the diverse specializations they are providing for each course. Like if you are considering BBA they have more than 10 specializations. Finance alone has approx 5+ specializations.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum for my course is very well structured with a proper balance between theory and practical. There are dedicated labs for practical subjects like the Stock Market Stimulation lab. Many faculty members are PhD holders are good in their job but there are also a few professors who are knowledgeable but can't connect with students well or don't explain concepts well. But most of the faculty is nice.
Internships Opportunities :
Since I am first year student I have not applied for any internships but as I have heard from my seniors the university has multiple partners who provide good internship and job opportunities. The placement records prove that true as well.
Placement Experience :
Galgotias University has a high placement rate with the current tenures placement reaching 5500+ job offers. The highest package was 60LPA and the average goes between 5LPA. The university has a dedicated placement cell and also an well developed student led e-cell. There are many internship opportunities as well both India and abroad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees per year is ?100000 and exam fees is ?25000 so the total yearly is ?125000 and you have to pay a one time I-card fees of ?1000. Also there is a caution fees of ?2000 (one time) and you have to pay ?650 yearly for health insurance. The fees starting this year has increased to tution fees being ?110000 and exam fees being ?20000.
Campus Life :
The overall campus life is nice in the university. There is a well established student council with numerous clubs covering all major areas of extracurriculars. They help develop soft skills and provide a lot of exposure to opportunities. Galgotias Unifest is one of the biggest fest of North India which happens in the month of April- May. The library is very huge with over 1000 physical books and a well established online library as well. The seating space is huge as well. The active learning classes and focus on practical learning makes students industry ready.
Hostel Facilities :
The university only has boys hostel in campus and the girls hostel is situated in Galgotias College of Engineering. Since the hostel is not very big, students have to go for off campus hostels. Ez stays hostels are affiliated to Galgotias University but I would recommend to look for hostels in your own. Most of the hostels provide bus facility for the university since major hostels are located in Knowledge Park 3 which is approx 20-25 mins away from university. You have to compromise with food a little on the basis that hostels are private and they don't hold any responsibility over food quality. Most of the girls hostel usually close by 9 pm and you have to ask for parents permission to go out for a day. I am currently residing in one of Ez stays hostel and it was not a good decision because the only nice thing is bus facility everything else is bad. The food taste's bad and is also prepared in unhygienic conditions.

Placement Experience :
Companies like Genpact, KPMG, Razorpay,induslnd bank, Ebix, Ebix, Tata AIA, Tata AIA, tata aia amd amdocs visit the campus for placements. Students are offered roles in finance, consulting, hr, operations, sales, and business development. The highest package offered is around 10lpa, while the minimum package starts from 6lpa.
