United University Admission Dates 2026

United University is taking applications for the 2026-27 session in its major courses. NEET UG 2026 based MBBS admission is in the UP state counselling stage. For B.Tech and other UG courses, students can use CUET 2026 or the United University Aptitude Test. MBA admission through CAT 2026 will finish in early 2027 after the result is announced.

Students who do not take CUET or JEE Main can apply through UUAT, the university's own entrance test conducted in two phases every year. The accepted entrance tests for different programmes are listed below.

United University Courses and Fees

United University runs more than 30 courses in 13 subject areas. The table gives the main courses, course length, basic eligibility and total fee for General category students.

B.Sc Agriculture, B.Com (Hons.), B.Des in Fashion Design, BHMCT and BA (Hons. English, Journalism) are offered at total fees ranging from INR 1.21 Lakhs to INR 5.06 Lakhs. Ph.D. programmes are available across disciplines with a 3-year fee of INR 3.28 Lakhs.

United University Admission Process

United University admits students through national entrance exams, CUET, UUAT and merit, depending on the programme. Medical seats follow NEET rules, while professional courses such as B.Tech, MBA and Law use entrance scores and university-level selection steps.

MBBS (Flagship Medical Programme)

United Institute of Medical Sciences (UIMS), the NMC-approved constituent medical college of United University, offers MBBS. Admission is based only on NEET UG.

• Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, minimum 50% aggregate, or 40% for reserved categories. The student must be 17 years old at the time of admission
• Entrance exam: NEET UG is compulsory and no other exam is accepted
• Process: Register with the NEET UG score, take part in UP state NEET counselling through DGME UP for state quota seats, or attend institute-level counselling for management quota seats

For newer private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh, NEET closing scores for General category management quota seats in private medical colleges usually fall in the 300 to 450 range. All India Quota seats at United University are filled through MCC counselling.

B.Tech

For B.Tech, the university accepts JEE Main, CUET UG and UUAT scores. Students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least 45% aggregate, or 40% for reserved categories. Direct admission without another entrance test may be offered under specific merit rules through UUAT.

MBA

MBA applicants can use CAT, MAT, CMAT or UUAT scores. A bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 50% aggregate is required. Shortlisted students attend group discussion and personal interview rounds. CAT-based admission closes in January-March after the November CAT exam, while MAT and CMAT based rolling admissions remain open during the academic year.

Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Other Programmes

LLB, BA+LLB and BBA+LLB admissions use CLAT, CUET or UUAT scores. B.Pharma admission is based on 10+2 PCB or PCM merit along with CUET or UUAT. B.Sc Nursing requires NEET or UP state norms and 10+2 PCB with Biology. B.Sc Agriculture, B.Des, BHMCT, BA, BCA and B.Com mainly admit students through CUET UG, UUAT or merit.

United University Placements

United University's placement cell works with more than 200 recruiting companies. For the 2024-25 batch, NIRF-reported placement data records the highest CTC at INR 8.53 LPA and the average CTC at INR 4.5 LPA for eligible graduating students.

B.Tech students in engineering and technology get the main share of campus placement opportunities. MBA and MCA students are placed in management consulting, IT and analytics roles. B.Sc Nursing and B.Pharma graduates find roles in hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organisations across North India.

United University Scholarships

United University offers scholarships through its own merit-based awards and government schemes. Students with strong CUET, NEET or JEE Main scores may reduce their fee burden if they also meet the required income or category rules.

United University Campus and Infrastructure

United University's 260-acre campus is located at Rawatpur, Jhalwa, Prayagraj-211012. It houses colleges for medical sciences, engineering, pharmacy, nursing, law, management, agriculture and design. The campus has specialised laboratories, a central library, seminar halls and a sports complex.

Boys and girls can stay in on-campus hostels. The hostel fee ranges from INR 78,000 to INR 1,12,000 per year, based on the room type, and the same range applies to both boys and girls hostels. Road transport links the campus with central Prayagraj. UIMS, the university's constituent medical college, has an attached teaching hospital where MBBS and nursing students receive clinical training.
