Remarks :

classAdmission Process and Reasons for Choosing the College I chose this college because it offered my preferred engineering course at an affordable fee structure and was conveniently located. The availability of government scholarships and basic academic facilities also influenced my decision. The college has qualified faculty members, laboratories, a library, and a placement cell, which were important factors while selecting the institution. Admission to the college was based on the AP EAPCET (formerly AP EAMCET) entrance examination conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. After the declaration of results, students participated in the centralized counselling process, where seats were allotted based on their entrance exam rank, category, reservation policy, and the availability of seats. There was no Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), or written test conducted by the college for admission. The admission process was straightforward and completed through

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I have a strong interest in technology, data, and problem solving. The curriculum covers both theory and practical subjects and gives a good base for higher studies and jobs in the IT field. The syllabus is relevant and includes core topics that help students build technical skills. The faculty members are qualified and most of them hold postgraduate degrees in their respective fields. They explain concepts clearly and complete the syllabus on time. The teaching method mainly includes classroom lectures, lab sessions, presentations, and assignments. Some faculty members also provide extra guidance for projects and exam preparation. Academics in the college are structured and follow the university schedule. Internal assessments, assignments, and laboratory work are conducted regularly to track student progress. Attendance and participation are also given importance. The term exams were conducted on time according to the academic calendar. There we

Internships Opportunities :

Internship Opportunities Yes, I opted for a paid internship to gain practical industry experience and improve my technical skills. The college shares internship opportunities through the Training and Placement Cell, while students are also encouraged to apply independently through online platforms and company career portals. Some companies that offer internship opportunities to students include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra for roles such as Software Developer Intern, Data Analyst Intern, Web Development Intern, Python Developer Intern, and Quality Assurance (QA) Intern. Depending on the company and role, the stipend generally ranges from ?5,000 to ?15,000 per month. During the internship, students work on real-time projects that help them understand industry practices. Typical projects include developing web applications, creating Python-based automation programs, designing databases, performing data analysis, testing software applications, and building machi

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fee for my course is Rs 95000. This includes the main course fee as well as all other compulsory fees for smooth conducting of the course. The fees for my batch has not changed till now so we have to pay the same amount every year. However if a change occurs in the fees structure of the college, we are intimated about it before hand. Year Fee First Year 95000 Second Year 95000 Third Year 95000 Fourth Year 95000 Thus the overall fee for my course amounts to 380000 in total.

Campus Life :

Campus and Social Life Life on campus is simple and mainly focused on academics. The college provides a peaceful environment where students can attend classes regularly and prepare for examinations. Although students get opportunities to interact with their classmates and faculty members, the overall campus life is not very active in terms of student engagement. There are limited opportunities for social interaction through organized events, and most students spend their time attending classes, completing assignments, and preparing for placements or higher studies. The college does not have active student clubs or societies. There are no dedicated technical clubs, cultural clubs, coding clubs, or entrepreneurship clubs managed by students. Similarly, the management does not provide much support for forming or conducting such clubs. As a result, students have fewer opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills through extracurricular act

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel and Accommodation I did not opt for the college hostel, so I cannot personally review the hostel facilities, mess, or the registration process. However, based on information shared by other students, the college hostel provides basic accommodation with essential facilities such as furnished rooms, electricity, water supply, and security. Students who wish to stay in the hostel can apply during the admission process by submitting the required application form and paying the prescribed hostel and mess fees. Hostel rooms are allotted based on availability. The hostel mess serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner every day. The menu mainly includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes prepared according to a weekly schedule. The food quality is considered average and meets the basic needs of students. Although the menu offers some variety, students feel that there is room for improvement in terms of taste and quality.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
